We have a 3 to 1 schedule that we use in our camping bags for each person (example: ground cloth or blanket, 2- to make pup tent or lean-to & ground cover) their packaging is very compact and can be re-used. These emergency blankets are great for a few reasons. They are good quality and they will keep your body warm and dry even when it's raining. They are good for everyone to have in case you need to get warm or keep dry to avoid hypothermic due to loss of your body heat in cold weather or in a cold rain. Everyone should have 2 or 3 of these blankets in your house, car & first-aid bag. Staying warm in an emergency situation is critical & it can become life threatening in only a few minutes in the right conditions. These seem to be a good strength material, really easy to see as they are very reflective and they are a gold color on one side and silver on the other side. They have several uses, wrapping up in for warmth, using it to make a shelter to stay dry in & using it for signaling someone in the air for rescue. They weigh next to nothing & pack easily into a bag or your car, first-aid bag or your pocket. Highly Recommend to Keep a few on hand, just in case you have an emergency situation. They are good for the intended usage of keeping your body warm and dry in an emergency situation!

They are emergency blankets, so I haven’t opened them yet. But, they are packaged nicely. I cannot swear it, but they look like they might be silver on both sides. They are larger than some other brands. I hope I never need them! But, it’s comforting to know I have them in home and car, just in case! 😊

Keep for bad weather as well as medical

I've never seen one of these 'emergency survival blankets' in person let alone used one. These were so inexpensive, I didn't think they'd be that good. Maybe they are junk compared to others, but at well under $1 apiece, I had to check it out. It is no thicker than a Mylar balloon and I thought it was going to rip just unfolding it. I opened it slowly and deliberately and had no issues with tearing. My young daughter thought it was very cool and wrapped herself up in it sitting on the living room floor. She's pretty much always cold and wears jeans and a sweatshirt while everyone else is in shorts and t-shirts. We were inside where the temp was a comfortable 75 (so this is by no means an accurate gauge of its effectiveness). However, in 6-7 minutes she noticed she was warm. She stuck her (previously very cold) hand out of the blanket and it was very very warm. I was shocked. We're looking forward to seeing if it works anywhere near as well when it's 50 or lower outside. And lastly, we were able to fold it back up (nowhere near exactly the way it started) and get it back into the plastic zip bag it came in.

Love these! shh, don't tell, but, I don't use them as is described. Haha I agree they are exactly as described. Silvery, very thin, shiny blankets. Extremely tiny foot print, small package. It does Exactly what I hoped. It keeps the cat off the furniture. Easy to lay out, easy to remove to use the couch. 💚 Holds up to multiple manipulations, no rips, no damage.

We got these for my father who is always cold in bed. We put it between his sheet and blanket, his body heat is reflected back at him and helps keep him warm. It’s a very low tech solution, but it works. The foil blanket itself is quite thin, and you need to handle it with care or it will rip. Once it is on the bed and under sheets it stays in once piece and does it’s job

Some of the better quality blankets and clearly visible from afar. A shame there aren't any priced that reflect charitable buys as these are acquired for the homeless - and can truly save lives in poor weather conditions - whilst searching for deals that offer more units for the price when doing a once monthly purchase..
