Lifemax 331 Under Pillow Vibration Alarm Clock

This alarm is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time! The vibrations are strong and wake you instantly. You can set two alarms and choose one or both to activate daily. There is a VERY handy snooze button which delays the alarm for 8-9 minutes. The alarm noise itself may not be very loud as another reviewer has pointed out, but if you need the vibrations to wake you then a loud noise in your ear becomes somewhat redundant! All in all a very good alarm that does what it says!

Very disappointed in this product! I am severely hearing impaired, obviously don't wear hearing aids when in bed. Was hoping this would have been a great wee alarm clock for me particularly with the vibration to wake me up. Unfortunately this does not vibrate enough even when right next to me and nor is it loud enough. Shame as it looks like a great wee gadget but not for me sadly. Additionally there are two settings for the alarms and it seems rather difficult to try and catch the 2nd alarm setting. Kind of putting it away to the side as more hassle than it's worth.

I have had a ringing in my right ear for a while now, but Hadn't realized how much it had affected my hearing, until I stopped hearing our normally ear-piercing alarm if I slept on my good ear! I can hear the hall clock 'dong', so decided I needed a low toned alarm. Try putting that in your search engine! Anyway, I eventually ended up with this on my screen. Some people loved it and some hated it. I only need it occasionally, when I have to get up extra early, to go to look after my grandson, so I didn't want to spend too much and I thought I'd give this a go. It's quite slim, but my pillows(2) are a bit thin, so I put it under both and in a top corner and it's fine. The instructions look a bit daunting, but if you read and do one line at a time, they make sense. I use vibrate, as lower tone. The louder one could wake the house, but if you carefully position slider between ring and the two zig-zag lines, you get one zig-zag line, which is a softer vibrate, which is fine for me and as I don't use snooze, my husband barely twitches. The clock does bleep when setting it, but so does my ordinary one and that's so loud, I have to adjust it under the covers. This is very quiet and the light is quite soft. Everything is quite small, but any bigger and you wouldn't want it under your pillow! I press the snooze button, then feel for the off button-much easier. All buttons still intact and I no longer wake every hour, to make sure I'm sleeping on the bad ear! I recommend this product.

I got this alarm with the intention that the vibrating alarm would wake me up but not my wife. Apart from the first morning of using this when I woke my wife to tell her that it worked well (she was not amused) it works okay - you can set the alarm to be audible/vibrating or both. I sleep with two pillows and find by putting the alarm between the pillows it doesn't wake my wife (most the time anyway). Against the bed however seems to make the bed shake. There's two alarms so you can choose which time to wake up to. So far so good... and then the common sense designers went on holiday to be replaced by 4 year olds. When using the SILENT clock, you may need to press the button to put the light on for the SILENT clock - yes, you guessed it, it beeps. No way to turn it off - it just beeps when you press it. More annoying though, when the clock is under the pillow it's easy for the buttons to fall out (they're only little rubber grommets). They're easy to put back in but it's hardly common sense design. My other complaint is that it doesn't seem that obvious in how you set it. I'm getting used to it but the buttons don't seem to be in the obvious places and doing the obvious things. This clock is relatively cheap and it's also good for travelling, but what a shame it has these silly design flaws.

I must confess I bought this alarm clock over a year ago, but did not get round to reviewing it at the time. I felt compelled to do so now, as it is the best alarm clock I have had. The vibration element of the alarm clock is what I have found particularly useful. It makes this clock stand out from a standard alarm clock. You simply need to insert it under your pillow, and it vibrates strongly enough to awaken you. That is, if you are not completely "dead" when you are asleep. Admittedly, I am a light sleeper, but do not let this deter you, as the vibrations get progressively stronger. Most ordinary sleepers will feel the pulsations. However, if the vibrations do not awaken you from your slumber, then perhaps the combination of vibrate and sound alarm setting should prove more effective. However, I do not believe the sound alarm setting alone, is significantly loud enough for a very heavy sleeper. The added features of temperature gauge might be useful for some. But, this was not my reason for buying this clock. Simply put, I like the fact that the vibrate feature is sufficiently effective to wake oneself, without disturbing anyone else nearby, if placed under your pillow. There are two settings for the alarm, effectively so that the alarm can be set twice a day. Initially, this proved a little fiddly at first, before I got the hang of it. It is definitely something that you can eventually get to grips with. All in all - a very good purchase!

It was exactly as described. It is great for a wakeup alarm/bedside clock. It also includes a room-temperature display. I'm hoping the producers could have included 2 AA finger batteries as I had to buy them separately before I could use it. But all-in-all, it is a great product and value for money.

Works as advertised. Small and easy to use. Doesn't disturb me when my husband need to get up early. Great!

Funktioniert wunderbar. Die Vibration ist eindeutig laut genug, unter dem Kissen immer noch laut genug der sich davon locker wach werde! Die Snooze Taste funktioniert auch ohne Tor, beim Ausschalten macht es einmal Piep. Aber unter dem Kissen leiser als die Vibrationen.

Bello,comodo,si infila tutto metaresso o nel cuscino..e vibra abbastanza...ma unico problema è perché non tutti giorni vibra?o forse perché non riesco a sentirmi?ma dopo sono andato a controllore di nuovo se vibra..ma vibra comunque e suona anche!!!allora mi domando sempre come mai non vibra tutti giorni o non ho metto bene un pulsante?ma in fondo mi è sempre piaciuto con la vibrazione e voto 5 stelle!!

Enfin un réveil qui me réveille sans réveiller toute la maisonnée. C'est un réveil facile d'utilisation pour lequel on choit soit le réveil sonore ou le réveil a vibration ou les 2. La vibration est juste ce qu'il faut. Placé sous l'oreiller il ne réveille que la personne concernée.

Lo compré porque tengo algo de sordera, y los despertadores normales no me despiertan, bueno despiertan a mi mujer, y ella a mi con el codo... Este despertador lo meto debajo de la almohada, dentro de la funda para que no se mueva, y me despierta con la vibración, sólo a mi, no a los demás. Es bastante simple, pero creo que no se necesita más. Tiene dos alarmas. Se puede seleccionar sonido, vibración o ambos, pero no es programable, si no manual, mediante un botón de posición que permite seleccionar como sonará la próxima vez. El sonido es único, el volumen es único... en fin, tiene lo justo, pero me va perfecto. Los materiales son plásticos, pero parece resistente.
