They will run on less than 10% of the watts of an incandescent bulb and outlast me
I purchased a floor lamp that has somewhat of a retro look and needed a bulb that was LED rather than incandescent, but still looking "the part" once the light tuned on. I ran into this one without having any idea of what was out there. LED light bulbs are the way to go, but one still needs to be sure they understand what they are buying. The wattage is not nearly as important to me than the temperature or, whether they are bright but too white, and if more of a yellow tinge, they still provide enough light to be useful. I ended up purchasing two different temperature rated bulbs that would hopefully provide enough light. I must admit this is much better than I expected since it's not only perfect for my particular fixture, but also being able to see through the glass enclosure the actual bulb, simply met and exceeded my expectations. I have purchased four now as I immediately thought of of other lamps I had throughout the house where they would be enhanced by just replacing the existing common LED bulb with one of these. It simply provided the perfect lighting and has enhanced the atmosphere where the lamps are. A few years ago I purchased this type of bulb that fitted a frame lamp for some paintings and they were and are terrific. They were pricey at the time but haven't replaced one yet and they come on and off according to how I have set the timers. When I used incandescent ones for the previous years, if I was lucky, they lasted six months. Some of the frame mounted lights are designed more for the purpose of providing great lighting for the painting, and replacing them can be a chore. They were expensive, but as it turned out, well worth it. Hence, when I saw that they now produced different styles and lighting, for me it was a no brainier to buy them. They cost more than the average LED bulb, but I also remember a few years ago, when the average LED bulb sold for nearly $40.00. All in all, I am as pleased as I expected and more; given the actual fixture where simply using a regular LED bulb) would have ruined the intent of the fixture. These are great bulbs and as long as you understand that there is more to an LED when they say it substitutes an incandescent 100 watt bulb or whatever, you can't go wrong. I believe they have the LED science down to where you can get so many different shades and temperatures that it will really add to any room they are used in. The fact that rThey will run on less than 10% of the watts of an incandescent bulb and outlast me.

2 of 12 failed in 3 weeks....
Bought and installed 12 bulbs and 2 failed after 3 weeks. These bulbs are used at night only and run for ~10 hrs/day. Not very reassuring results for the remaining bulbs and BTW(!) the “return window” closed about 2 days before the failed. Because I need an exact match, I have reordered but I’m not happy about it.

Only lasted 3 months - that’s quite expensive
These look great - may not be worth the cost - bought pack of 4, 1 failed at 3 months of nighttime only use - bought a 2nd set ‘cause these are on front of house - will see if the rest last longer

WAY TOO dim!
They are lying about their lumens or they are wildly inefficient for the amount of brightness you get. So like others have posted, these are very dim and I have the 15 watt bulbs. I have two in a ceiling fan in a small room and it’s barely bright enough to see in there. Very disappointed because there’s no other warm lights that have the proper brightness I’m looking for.

nice and bright
I like these. I had bought some whiter bulbs, which were fine, but the white color reminded me of office lighting, these are warmer. I use these throughout our 1920's house.

7.5w not 15w ..... very dull bulbs
These bulbs are a ripoff I had it installed on my chandelier with a smart relay that measures its wattage consumption..... the damn thing is only 7.5W and not 15W as stated in the listing. No wonder it is very dull and not bright at all. Sending it back for refund immediately!

Use higher color temperature if you need more light; output is otherwise meaningless.
Higher color temperature provides contrast; this doesn't. If you need brightness from this, get higher color temperature.
