The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible Review: A beautiful Bible for all ages and all reading levels - This is so beautiful. And it’s not only good for children to read abt the Bible but all age groups and reading levels as well. I’m dyslexic and I had 2 strokes and I’m an elderly woman. This book has helped me a lot with keeping up my Bible reading. It’s very enjoyable. Granted it’s not in-depth as a regular Bible but it helps keep GODs word alive for all people. Review: Perfect for my almost 4 year old! (And still great now that he's a first grader!) - I cannot speak highly enough of this children's bible. It is absolutely wonderful! It is well worth the price and a must-have for any preschooler. I have several Baby Bibles and Preschooler Devotion Books and neither one was accomplishing the task that I desired. The baby bibles were great when my son was 6 months - 2 years but I was bored reading them to him and there wasn't anything new for him to learn. He enjoys the devotion books but I don't think that they are enough bible training. So on a quest to teach my 3 year old (almost 4) more about the bible, I read lots of reviews on lots of kids bibles. I'm so glad I picked this one!! My son eagerly runs to his room every night at bedtime so that he can learn his next bible story. He is mesmerized with the pictures and asks lots of really good questions based on the illustrations. At first I was concerned that the stories were too short, but I think that the authors do a great job of packing a lot of truth into a short story. I don't think that a preschooler could handle much more. Even though he is able to sit still and listen to bedtime stories for a long time, these kind of stories are different because it challenges him to really think outside of what he is used to and a longer story would be too difficult to process. (Cain & Abel, Sodom & Gomorrah...those are strange new concepts for a little kid to process! But very valuable, I believe.) I often add extra details as we go along to help him understand the story and he asks lots of questions so the time we spend looking at the pictures and talking about the story is longer than just the time it takes to read the words on the page. He often wants to flip back to the map (which he loves!) or illustrations from previous stories as he works in his little mind to put together the timeline and connections between the stories. I love it and it makes me so thrilled to see how excited he is to learn about the bible. Each night we look ahead one story for a little spoiler on what is coming the next night and it seems to be enough to peak his curiosity so that he will be excited for the next story. I think that even a very young baby would like the illustrations in this book. The stories are definitely written for a 3-1/2 or 4 year old to understand (maybe earlier, depending on the kid). I don't know what age he will outgrow this, but I expect that it will be a favorite for a long time. With a night missed here or there it will probably take a full year for us to read through the whole book and I think that it could easily be read again when we're done. UPDATE: My son is now 6-1/2 and he reads this bible to himself. He still enjoys these bible stories every night. We have gone through the whole thing a few times over the past couple of years and he still loves it. We have a few others that we also like now that he's older, but he certainly hasn't outgrown this one yet. Highly recommend!

LOVE this children's bible. Worth every penny!
Great way to teach children about God. I have ordered a copy for all seven of my grandchildren and the children at my church. I use the beautiful illustrations along with the well done , simplified text when teaching Sunday School.. The cover and bindings are very durable and the pages are heavy enough to withstand many readings. I can not say enough about this wonderful children's bible.

Excellent
I was astonished at the quality and beautiful artwork. I would have expected to pay more. Includes all or most of the major stories and lessons in scripture. What better way to introduce a child to our Creator and savior than with images to accompany the words. If a parent is just being introduced to scripture it's especially great. Reading this to your child will introduce a parent and child to the word and stir interest while bonding with their child creating memories that form who a child will be as an adult. The hope is that all believe and except the gift of salvation. Not just a gift but a blessing. May the Lord bless these little seeds that they grow and produce fruit

Best Children's Bible Ever! [especially for an ESL child!)
Such a great first bible! English is not my daughter's first language, so reading is a bit tricky for her. She is in the 3rd grade. We read about 20-30 minutes each night, but have swapped out her bookshelf selections for this illustrated bible. I wish I had bought this sooner! The images are beautiful, but the reading is straightforward, making it easier for her to comprehend what she is reading. I love it. She loves it. WE love it!

Hardback, beautifully color illustrated on every page. The children love them! for ages 4-7
I've bought this for three children so far in our church. Color pictures of quality on every page, with short stories to explain the pictures. Hardback, very beautiful. Gave these to ages 4, 6 and 6. They bring these to church, as they love to look through them during sermon. They are so proud of these picture story Bibles. Good for ages 3-7. And at the time I bought the last two, the second one was 50% off! And I got the no-rush digital reward as well. Blessings all around!

Great version for children
Lovely pictures and quality paper. Slightly heavy. Good for the very young, once they’re strong enough to carry it. Stories well written, so kids don’t get more information than their innocent minds need.

Beautiful book of Bible Stories
This book is exactly what I was looking for to read to my two year old. She loves the illustrations, and she stays intrigued as we are reading it. I highly recommend to anyone trying to teach Bible stories to their children.
