I'm skeptical of a lot of protein snacks. With some exceptions, most of them just aren't that good or don't convince me to buy them regularly. I was given a sample bag of Cheddies to try and had the same initial doubts. This is one of those exceptions. Cheddies are delicious(!) and might become the first Amazon product I subscribe to. I love that I can snack on these at work and not feel guilty afterwards, and on top of that they have a surprising amount of protein. Perfect for fitness minded people or those who just need some extra protein in their diet. My only complaint is it's way too easy to demolish a bag of these in one sitting. It's not a cheap snack, but totally worth it.

I came across Cheddies by happy accident via a Love with Food snack box. When I sampled the trial bag, I knew I had stumbled upon something pretty amazing. The first thing that stood out to me was the nice amount of protein in a cheese-flavoured cracker. I'm a fellow Cheez-It lover, but I know they pack some mean calories - and I usually lack willpower when snacking on them. These Cheddies have a wonderful size and texture and even more natural cheese flavour, with an added bonus of extra protein and cleaner ingredients. I loved the trial pack so much that I searched online and found a larger bag on Amazon. I will now keep these (as often as I can) in my desk drawer to annihilate daily hunger pangs without feeling too guilty. My only discrepancy upon delivery was the fact that the majority of my bags were full of bits and pieces versus actual full-size crackers due to what I'm sure is courier abuse. Not the biggest deal-breaker though - I have no shame in holding the bag over my mouth and shaking the bits in. So sue me.

I had a couple of shipping issues with my first two orders (wrong flavor and damaged/broken crackers from a crushed box). I was bummed – because the crackers are really, really good otherwise. But the co-founder of the company handled the issues himself and made sure I was satisfied. I couldn't be more impressed with the customer service. As for the crackers, they're not necessarily low carb or low calorie, but I find them to be a better option than the other alternatives. One serving is also pretty filling, which I appreciate. If you want something tasty, filling and a little healthier than most chips or crackers, you'll be happy with your purchase.

As you might guess from the package, these are made to be a high protein version of chee*-it crackers. As a high protein snack, they do cost a fair amount more than supermarket cheese crackers, but if you enjoy this type of snack and want to watch your carb intake, these hit the spot. The only problem I've had is limiting how fast I eat them. In theory, each package should provide about 3 servings, but, this being the USA...a bag's a serving. And the only regret is that you've eaten them too fast.

These are a thicker crunchy cracker. They are extremely filling and have the real cheddar block cheese taste. Compared to cheese itz they have more protein but only a bit less carbs. The flavor is def there. I first tried this at HEB and I thought I got a bag with way more crackers inside to the ones I received at Amazon. This bag lasted me two days well. It would be extremely awesome to see them cut the sodium in half with “no salt salt”, use stevia instead of sugar (doesn’t replicate insulin spikes), and use almond flower. The keto community would go crazy

I was wondering how Cheddies managed to do it: high protein, low sodium, low fat, low carb, until I received my package. Whey protein concentrate is one of the major ingredients on it. I'm not a fan of whey because of what it does to your gut and skin, but the real downer for me was the added sugar. Why make a cheese cracker sweet? We're not talking saccharine sweet, but the slightly sweet aftertaste threw me off. Minus the sugar, I'd say this had the potential to be a pretty great tasting cracker.

I've been trying to find snacks that are higher in protein, and these are great! They taste a bit like Cheez-its, but they're crunchier, more filling, and have way more protein (and less carbs). My daughter is always asking for cheese crackers like goldfish or cheez-its, and these have been a great substitute. She loves them and she's getting a nice boost of protein. I've got my office-mates hooked on Cheddies too. It looks like Cheddies comes in a few different flavors. I'm hoping that all of the flavors will be available on Amazon before long. I want to try them all!

Those are pretty solid if you are trying to be a healthy snacker. Some people describe them as being like cheese nips, but they really aren't at all. They are more like a cheddar triscuit in texture and taste. I like them overall, but if you're expecting cheese nips prepare to be disappointed
