These are great!
These are great diverters! They work wonderfully. The steam blows out the sides and not up into my cabinet any longer. They are BPA free silicone so they are food safe! There are two in a package that are different colors. I use one for sweet and one for savory. Works out wonderfully. They fit perfectly on my instant pot steam valve. They are a breeze to clean as well. They’re from a small company too and I love that! They came in just two days!!I just can’t say enough about these little steam diverters!Go grab you some before they’re gone!Wonderful product!

Simple to use
Simple easy to read instructions. Works well, tenderizing corned beef and later chicken. Vegetables cook quickly. No recipes included but plenty on line.

So far, so good
When the two different diverters arrived, I figured they would be two different sizes to fit on top of my pressure relief valve. They were not, as they were the exact same size. However, I have used the diverters twice so far and they have stayed on top of the lid. I expect at some point Steam will blow them off, but as of right now all is well. I wish one had a tighter fit though.

Did not fit standard size Insta pot
The item I got did not fit a standard size Insta pot. I’m not sure if it fits other brands or the smaller Insta pot. The product itself wasn’t packaged very well and came creased and the silicone was quite thin. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

perfect fit
purchased for < Instant Pot Duo 60 V4 >, i didn't need 2 of these but at the sale price it was cheaper than getting one. fits perfect, does not interfere with the valve's operation at all. great for preventing the steam from blasting the ceiling or wall.

I didn’t think I would work but I’m surprised how get it is
I think this product is the best thing for me with my pressure cooker. My pressure cooker is the larger 8qt size and this product really is amazing. So very simple yet does a wonderful job of taking the steam away from my cabinets

Perfect size for 2 with enough for 4 meals
My crock pot finally died and I was curious about the Instant pot. Retired we don’t need a big one, but I love the one pot stews. I started using it with new recipes from a Instant Pot cookbook for the smaller pot. It does not come with a good cookbook and you need to look for one for the smaller pot. Let me just say everything I have made in it has been amazing. I have even made my mothers beef burgundy recipe once I got the feeling for how much to put in the pot. Hard boiled eggs are easy and consistent, remember fresh eggs make the best hard boiled eggs! One in my bunch was the last of a carton and I suspect it was the one with gray around the yoke. I had to have a chat online with service. It was picked up quickly and in a few back and for resolved. I forgot the timer is not a microwave timer! It’s hours and minutes not minutes and seconds. It doesn’t do seconds. Even my husband didn’t realize it! So I wasn’t alone…I felt like a moron, but oh well. The response form them was quick and easy!

Don't Cover Pressure Cooker Valves!
I tested this this diverter, as well as few diverters sold out there on three different multi cookers and had problems. The Diverters Block the Pressure Cooker Valve! When using this one with the Instant Pot Ultra 8 Quart and The Cosori 8 quart 8-in-1 the steam release vent released so much excess water through the cooking process neither pots reached to pressure. After checking we discovered the water on both pots the liquid dissolved and stopped both machines before the pots burnt! Both of the cookers the Instant Ultra 8 Quart Cosori 8 quart 8-in-1 were tested again without the diverter and both ran perfectly…- This was diverter not tested on the •Instant Pot Lux since the manufacturer clearly states it will not work. It was tested on the following: Instant pot DUO60, Instant pot Ultra 8 Quart and The Cosori 8 quart 8-in-1. It also absolutely does not work on the- Instant pot Ultra 8 Quart or the Cosori 8 quart 8-in-1. This particle diverter did not seem to affect the Instant Pot DUO60 6 Quart pressurizing process as when used on the Instant Ultra 8 Quart Cosori 8 quart 8-in-1. Although I can not say for sure if it would interfere with the Instant pot DUO60 6 Quart’s correct cooking timing or liquid amounts needed?Attention Shoppers- keep in mind: Consumer Alert: Don't Cover Pressure Cooker Valves! A growing number of people are sharing pressure cooker tips that include advice about covering the valve or vent of the pressure cooker during pressure release by covering the vent/valve of the pressure cooker with a dry or wet towel, paper towel, hot pad or another object.Following this advice is a problem because the steam release vent is one of the pressure cooker’s main safety systems and any obstruction could cause this system to fail, or to trigger one of the other last-resort safety systems (which are generally pretty messy and could permanently damage electric pressure cookers).*Most pressure cooker instruction manuals instruct the cook not to cover the lid or obstruct the vent or steam release valves of their pressure cooker. Below are some warnings from just a few manufacturers:*“While in operation, do not cover the appliance or position it near flammable materials including curtains, draperies, walls, and fabric upholstered furniture.” – Fagor LUX Multi-cooker Instruction Manual*“Do not cover the pressure valves.” – Instant Pot DUO User Manual*“CAUTION: DO NOT COVER PRESSURE/STEAM REGULATOR OR SAFETY VALVE OR APPLIANCE WITH ANY TOWEL OR MATERIAL.”–Bon Appetit Oval Pressure Cooker Manual*“Do not cover the pressure valves with anything. An explosion may occur.” –Cook’s Essentials 4qt Instruction ManualInstead of covering the pressure cooker lid and vents with a towel, or diverters or other items, here are our recommendations for safe alternatives.Reduce Steam from Pressure Release1. When cooking in a small space, the large release of steam after pressure cooking can certainly be inconvenient. Here are three ways to reduce the impact of steam in your kitchen:2. Open the pressure cooker using Natural Release, instead. This releases just a little wisp of steam during 20 minutes as the cooker cools itself down.3. Place the cooker under the range hood, using a cutting board to stabilize, and operate and release pressure there. Before it’s time to release pressure, simply turn the exhaust fan in the range hood to maximum power. Remember to remove this set-up away from the range when the oven or other burners are in operation.4. If the range hood is not accessible, operate the pressure cooker next to an open window or ventilated area before releasing pressure. (If your cooker’s instruction manual advises you not to move the cooker while it has contents under pressure, don’t do it.)5. Turn your pot around so that the steam is going to the middle of the roomMy theory:I wouldn’t buy/ use any of these products. But, if you feel you must use something- you should only use this method or any head when venting, not while cooking under pressure.Always follow the safety precautions outlined in your pressure cooker’s instruction manual.
