I took this progesterone cream for a month earlier this year. It is the only thing that was different in my routine. Two weeks later I experienced bilateral pulmonary embolisms, which was very shocking as I am in my 20s in good health. My doctors believe this product could have raised my estrogen levels and contributed to the blood clots. There's no way to know for sure...but do your research on wild yam and blood clotting before taking this product.

I have had PVC's (pre-ventricular contractions), irregular heartbeat, off and on since my mid 20's. From what doctors say, they are not dangerous and to not be concerned but they are soooo annoying. Dr.'s just wanted to put me on beta blockers to stop them but I already have low blood pressure and they made me feel horrible. Not to mention I didn't want to take a med to mask the problem, I wanted to know what was causing it. Not one dr. told me it could be hormonal. After having my first child the pvc's came back with a vengeance for about 2 months. Then eventually went away. After having my second child they came back again and gradually stopped again after 2 months. Throughout my 30's and 40's I would have an occasional pvc but nothing I couldn't deal with. Then came my 50's. They started coming back more frequently until they were constant all day and all night. This continued for 2 years. I went to a cardiologist, had ultrasound of my heart and had heart monitor on for 3 days (which showed that I was having up to 900 pvc's a day!) Again, they said don't worry your heart is healthy you can go on beta blockers to help decrease the pvc's. Ugh. I felt terrible. When your heart is flip flopping all day and all night it is scary and made me very anxious. So I decided to dive deep into the internet and be my own advocate. I put 2 and 2 together and realized it had to be a hormone issue because it was at its worst after having babies (hormones plummet) and now in my 50's and menopausal. After researching ALOT, I found that low progesterone can cause pvc's. Now to research which cream is best and this IS the one. Bio-identical and no parabens. Those of you who use the Yuka app, they rate it excellent:) No harmful ingredients. I noticed a decrease in my pvc's after one day of using this product! After 3 days all pvc's were gone! I have been using this cream for 8 months now and have not had any pvc's. PLEASE never stop making this product. It has saved me!

I have used a variety of progesterone creams and oils, and this cream does work OK. For two reasons, though, I don’t expect to buy it again. First, the pump is very hard to use. Mine did function, though it took quite a few initial pumps before it started dispensing a full dose. At first, I didn’t know what a full dose looked like, so I didn’t use enough the first few times. The pump did work until all the cream was gone. However, it was VERY hard to use. You need strong hands to operate this. Anyone with arthritis or other hand problems wouldn’t be able to use this pump. My second reason for not buying this again is the price. It costs significantly more (per dose) than several other good creams I have used, and it costs as much as an oil that I find easier to use than this cream. There’s nothing special about this cream’s performance to justify the extra cost in my opinion. But it does work, and the scent is neutral. If you can deal with the pump, you might like it.
