I don't do well with cold weather. My dog, however, loves it so we go for walks. Regular hats don't seem to keep my ears warm, so I went in search of a Balaclava. So glad I found this. First it's very warm. I put it on, then my coat. I'm snug as a bug. I found that pulling up the mask part makes breathing a little hard when I'm being dragged down the street by my dog, so I don't wear it like that very often, but it's nice to have when I'm standing there waiting for doggo to finish reading the smells on the tree. It's also pretty darn cute - BONUS!

We had exceptionally cold weather and wind in December. Luckily, I had ordered this face mask/neck cover. I could go out with the dog or shovel snow and my face, head, and neck were kept cozy. A feature I especially like about this item, is that the face covering can be adjusted so that it goes up to the eyes leaving only a slit to see out of keeping my face out of the cold wind. The hat portion is warm and soft but isn't tight against the head so my hair did not get matted down as in most winter caps. Definitely worth the price!

This works! Toasty warm, yet very comfortable to wear. I don't get the sweats or itchiness I usually get with winter hats. The added face protector can be moved out of the way when not needed - perfect! If you're on the fence about buying this, just do it. You won't be sorry!

The Balaclava is very warm. The hood has a great lining so no wind goes through. The reason for the 4 stars is when the mast is not in use and is below the chin, it is quite tight. But maybe it will stretch with use.
