You Choose Paperback – January 1, 2012

We love the You Choose books! This one is great! I love all the unique mix of familiar things into something new. My kids choose this one to look to together over and over. I enjoy that is is a make your own story kind of book so every time can be different.

My kids borrowed this from the library at the recommendation of our librarian friend, and they loved it so much we bought a copy. It's fun for kids to interact with the book and choose from many different things...Where would you go? Then they can point to all kinds of places on a picture, from the desert to an island to a city to outer space. They can choose what kind of house to live in (my kids choose the castles!), what food to eat, what clothes to wear, what jobs they want, what activities they want to do, and more...there are so many choices! Kids love to put together a fun imaginary life and this is a great book to help them to that!

Love, love, love this book. My daughter kept checking it out at the library so we bought it. After 6 months, we still read it at least once a week. So many fun pictures and opportunities for imagination. We also own Just Imagine by the same author, which I also highly recommend.

My 4 and nearly 2-year old both love this book. I'm amazed at how my youngest picks up on the concept and has fun "choosing" for everyone in our family. Fun, creative, a discussion starter, and overall great book. Good one for kids to entertain themselves with, too, once they have read it with parents a few times. I'm now hunting for similar books to add to our library.

Includes stickers to create your own storyline, sounded funny when read but the kids just loved the wacky style of how the story goes. You choose & you create. Great to have in cars too!

Big hit!

The original You Choose is an absolute classic and has helped to pass the time on many long car journeys over the years for my two. They can literally spend hours pouring over the various scenarios. This was bought with a similar aim in mind. It's still great in that there's so much to look at and discuss on each page, so it certainly achieved that aim. However, with a specific theme to this version it was always going to feel a bit limited in comparison to the original. My children really like it, but I definitely prefer the original.

You Choose and Just Imagine are two of our go to books at bedtime, every single day. The volume of illustration in those is immense - so we were excited to see a new book coming to add to the arsenal. Unfortunately, You Choose in Space feels a bit lacklustre by comparison. There's noticeably fewer illustrations on each page - maybe the brief made coming up with them harder, but it definitely hasn't captured my son's imagination at all like the other two. Hope that the next one is crammed with creative stuff!

My 4 year old son loves role play and imaginative play and this book has been a great addition to our library. We bought this after borrowing the original "You Choose" book from our local library. The book allows him to be creative in his story with prompts from the pages. It's enjoyable for me too as we're not reading the same stories every night!

My 4 year old is obsessed with this book. Great for encouraging speech and conversation and she loves the space topic. I have had to hide it for a bit as I am fed up of reading it every night for her!

Wonderful book for a childs imaginationWe originally bought the “you choose” book and my 3 year old wanted to read it every night for about 4 months so we bought this one for a change.... it’s not as good as the original but still worth getting
