It has to be fresh to be good.. dry flesh has lost its value
Most pods were broken . The flesh dry and some had small bugs .the product is unacceptable. U know the pods are fragile. Should take the time to pack it so it does not get destroyed on transit. Why should I have to bear the responsibility to send it back when u do not do ur duty as seller? I am extremely disappointed with the product and the service..

Not the taste we were looking for.
Well we've never had these before so thought we'd give it a try. Maybe try and grow some of the seeds as well. We weren't impressed with them. I guess maybe a acquired taste. We ended up adding the fruit to cupcake mixes. Saved some of the seeds. Not sure if we will try to grow some or not. Product was fast shipped and fresh. Could tell they weren't dried out.

Tastes like dates
These tamarinds are so fresh and delicious. Thry have a hard shell on the outside and on the inside there is a soft gooey texture. The best comparison is similar to fruit roll ups. They have a similar taste to dates also, except they have some tanginess to them. They are great to eat as a snack but be careful because they do have seeds.
