Pretty cool, allowed my son to practice and be able to use a real one safely
Nicely packaged and delivered fast. Good quality for price. My son loves to practice different spins with it. I love the fact it's not real and can't cut him. Not heavy but weighted enough for it to be useful in learning different techniques. Made of a durable material that is not steel but more a flexible plastic. It's super simple to use for beginners, but people with experience with other practice karambits would need to adjust to the tip of this one.

Hey. A inexpensive, safe way to 'check out' the feel of a Karambit! ✨
Hey. Let me clarify... I'm a knife collector. Not a martial arts guy. At all 😸 But karambits and Filipino fighting styles are super interesting, in general....This Cold Steel Karambit Trainer is well made and fairly priced. However, I gather from reviews the main fail here is the 'blade' is too large. I think you have to be more precise with the bigger blade. Which I guess is okay for training?...😇 But I remember a Community member pointed out how ridiculously often they touched that 'Balled-Tip' to their arm. 😖 Oh ya, You can grin with the trainer, but it would not be funny with a real karabit! 🤷 But this is an affordable, safe way to see what karabits feel like. I'm definitely glad I got it as opposed to a real Tiger Claw. ✨😺

Perfect Trainer for Larger Carriers
I sometimes carry a larger karambit and keeping my skills sharp require a larger trainer. This Cold Steel trainer is easy on the palms, fingers, and attack body parts of partners. I practice Pencak Silat and Eskrima and this trainer at 12$ is fantastic. Can't beat the value. Great build quality, not too sturdy and not too flimsy. Highly recommended.

Trust me, you need one of these if you plan on owning a Karambit
You have always seen Karambits being used in the movies, they look so cool that you want to own one. They ARE very cool, they are VERY sharp, they WILL hurt you badly, and they take time to master. Please DO NOT go out and buy one of these knives without considering a training Karambit. Once you get the trainer, just play with it for a while and you will soon understand why you needed it. Next, watch some training videos, or even better find an actual place where you can get proper training. As you get better, you may decide that this is your new everyday carry knife. Please check State and City regulations for legality of carrying this style of knife. A simple visit to your local PD may be all you need, but don't just walk in with it strapped to your side. Buy a trainer, practice a lot and learn that there are so many different ways to use it. It is not JUST A KNIFE.

Solid weight and solid quality
Came in way larger then what was show it was almost doubly the size of my basic knives, still use able and has solid Quality you’re definitely paying for what you get. I will say it’s the perfect weight for what your most likely ordering for

Exactly what I wanted and very good price , I got it with the real knife also. At least now I can play with it and not worry about cutting my bits off. Also The Quality is a LOT higher than i was expecting for under $15 Bucks!!

Perfect trainer, no edges and plastic is on the heavier side. Son digs it ;)

It's a tough injection moulded plastic, and so there are some sharp points to deburr or sand off for a really comfortable fit to personal preference. Weight and shape isn't really ideal, but it's a safe and cheap alternative to expensive paired trainer karambits for trick spinning. It comes with a California cancer warning, but just about all knives made of metal come with one too because chromium added to alloys absolutely causes cancer, but just like there it's not a significant hazard unless you manage to ingest or breathe in particles of it regularly. The hardener used for the plastic probably leeches into food, so just don't try to eat with this and you'll be fine.

While I’m no karambit professional this trainer is a rugged and durable option from Cold Steel. My son and his buddies have gotten them for sword battles / boy things and they’ve kept up even while being plunged through ice and snow to cut out bricks to build with and throw at each other. My only mention is that they are substantially thicker than real knife and extremely light at 64g so if you’re training with this the real version will be fairly different. They would be good for contact defences training since they have nubby but again, are different. Overall they actually just make a good “kids” toy and are way more worthwhile than a dollar store / Walmart toy. Obviously use your own judgment on your child’s own responsibility. Regardless I would recommend this Cold Steel Karambit Trainer.
