I bought this replacement filter for my small boy water filter system to filter out the chlorine they put in my drinking water it's working great

The title says it all: my water tastes like a funky sponge now. I got the filter to remove, or reduce, chlorine and fluoride for my plants but I tasted the water from it and well....it's weird. Not good. I have a different filter that's only carbon and it makes the water taste great, but this one does not.

This is OEM for the Hydro-Logic Stealth 100/200 and will fit the SmallBoy Model from Hydro-Logic also.It removes all clorine, that I can test for and it appears to do a better job than the green coconut filter thatcame with the RO.[...]This filter needs to be flushed BEFORE FIRST USE.Flushing a HydroLogic KDF85 Filter Prior To Usewith Youtube video.[...]

Carbon and catalyst material shifted significantly, divider material was out of place 90 degrees. Was able to unscrew end cap by hand and pour the stuff out slowly into different containers, then refill in proper position. I assume this happens from shipping vibration while laying on the side.

This product is carbon filter only. There is no Substrate to eliminate Chloramine. This is not the correct filter and request a refund and a paid return postage.

Fantastic filtration for a low cost! I use this in my small boy for all my aquariums and pet water.
