Great tips for Ryobi PCL946.
They look like great tips. They have an iron or steel core for better heat retention. Fits the Ryobi PCL946. 900M tips will also fit this iron. However, they have a thinner sleeve wall and will not retain heat as well. Updated from 4 to 5 stars. I originally reported that the pictured red holder was missing. It was in fact loose in the outer envelope and I overlooked it. My mistake.

They were able to handle soldering an entire modular synthesizer
I used some of the puppies to solder an entire Moog-style modular analog synthesizer. Thousands of components, zero trouble. I mainly use the bent point because I've found it transfers heat to tiny traces better, but they all seem to do a perfectly acceptable job. I've been using them with a Hakko FX-888 knockoff I bought from Sparkfun; they might work with other knockoffs as well but you'd have to verify that.

TECKE 11X T18 Soldering Iron Tips Replacement for HAKKO Tip for HAKKO FX-888D FX-888 FX-600 (11 pcs)
Seems to be a good deal for Hakko FX888 Tips, whereas 3 name-brand tips cost the same price as this 11-piece set... haven't used them yet.

Proper fit for Ryobi PCL946 120W soldering iron
These T18 tips fit my Ryobi PCL946 120W soldering iron, matching the original tip's internal fit dimensions. Even the longest thinnest tip heated up quickly and reliably melts solder. I specifically searched for these plated copper core tips after seeing poor reviews of cheaper tips.

Nice
Decent solder iron set. The red holder is absolute garbage. It wouldn't hold a cold let alone any of the bits if it tips.

work but not well
the real hakko tips transfer heat very well. I can set my station very close to the melting point of my solder, but with these generic tips, I have to bump my station up to 100F ~~ 37C degree for the solder to melt. If you are low in budget, go with these tips. I highly recommend to get the real hakko tips vs these generic tips.

Excellent Hakko Tips
The Hakko soldering iron comes with a pointed tip which is very poor at heating anything. To counter this problem, I had to increase the temperature of the iron well above its suggested range. When I tried to remove the Hakko tip, I found that the cylinder surrounding the heating element had fused to the tip. I bought this set to allow me to use one of the several included chisels tips. I then had to buy a new handle to replace the damaged one. I found a Chinese clone that appears to work well. The new tips allow me to solder a variety of applications: From pin point solder joints in an LCD display to heavy duty wire.

Nice Tips For the Price
These tips seem to work fine for what they do. I haven’t used them extensively so hoping they last long term.
