First couple days it held onto my round plastic disc, now it keeps falling over

My action camera lacked a good suction mount and this popped up as a very inexpensive option. Reading through the reviews I noticed some people had issues with the suction cup holding. But there were a number of good reviews so I thought, what the heck! After all, Amazon has a great return policy so I couldn't lose.Once I opened the pack I could see that it was made on a decent plastic that matched the plastic used on the camera's original bracket materials. The very first thing I did was head for a mirror and mount this up for a day. After 24 hours it was still holding perfectly. I did experience the screw type adjusters slacking off a little so I tightend those up, maybe twice in the first few hours. After that they held perfectly. Most likely settling as the plastic around the edges where molded. The reach of the stand for the camera is short so when mounted and struck or shaken the camera was rock solid and did not jitter at all.As to why others had issues all I can think is this is made for flat, non porous surfaces. If you try to mount it to a curved surface or a porous material the cup will not hold vacuum. A car's dashboard that is of the faux leather style is not flat and the vacuum will leak away causing the device to fall.So far I am delighted with this. I got a very nice mount at a very reasonable price...

I haven’t had this item long but nothing negative has happened so far. My only concern, as with anything made of plastic, is longevity. How long before the adjustment wheel or nut breaks. Time will tell but it’s ok, so far. Fingers crossed. Good suction, hasn’t popped off yet.No complaints. I will update if something bad happens.

I've had a few different suction cup mounts for GoPros. Some work well, but have a miserable mounting system (like tripod screw type only). Others don't work at all and fall off all the time. The GoPro brand versions is nice, but a little expensive, bigger than can fit at times and hard to secure (there is a bit of a trick to it).This mount is easy to use, has the standard GoPro system mounts instead of the tripod screw mount, and stays securely on the surface you mount it to. I use it on the glass wall behind the net at hockey games. Weaker holding products fall off when a player slams into the glass panel; shaking the glass hard knocks them down. With these, they have stayed up without fail.My only complaint would be that they could come with more accessory joints, but for the price I don't expect that. You can buy a kit of extra joints to go with this and you're set!

You get what you pay for with these. The screw fittings were not the best (would not screw all the way in the first couple of times), and the suction does not always stick, but at the end of the day the price is pretty much the lowest, but I definitely wouldn’t trust those suctions with any of my expensive equipment because it’s going to probably release on you.

Now that I have had this item for quite some time I'm finding out that it's not as good as I thought it was I have different parts that are falling off of the mount. the Mount of Still Holding but now things are falling off

It works well, have zero problems with the suction adhesion.....it'll do its job.
