Solid vice, good weight, but rough casting and machined base
Purchased to use with a pillar drill. Its a solid vice and I have found that the jaws close parallel and don't ride up too much when tightened. I have found that the machined base on mine is not very flat and has a number of sharp edges sticking down which affect the vice sitting flat on the drill table. Some work will be required to take these edges and dinks out. Ok for the money but the finish is a bit rough.

Solid bit of kit
Good solid piece of metal. Will be better when it has been used a bit more as is a little tight. Could have done with a little more finishing as there are several sharp edges needing filing off.
