I got it to work
At first it was leaking from the quick connect section, but if you give it an extra push after the water starts coming out that stops. It did put thread tape on screwing it in to the bucket

Perfect fit
Fits my filters. Tighten by hand. Works great.

not NPT
These are not tapered, which is a defining quality of NPT fittings. Perhaps this listing does not state NPT, but water filters generally need that type of fitting. On my water filter holder they stopped short of getting tight enough not to leak. I used teflon tape. I tightened it with a wrench, and it reached a point where a flat part was up against the filter housing. The fitting would go no further, yet it was not tight, and water was leaking out. Happened on both sides of the filter housing.

Great connectors
Used them for running water through a plastic tube. Worked fine. No leaks

Cheap replacement for OEM part
Needed a replacement for my ROES-50 water system (the 1st-stage inlet that screws into the housing was damaged and leaking). You need 1/4" on BOTH sides of the elbow fitting, and wrap teflon tape around the thread at least 3x, but haven't had problems yet!Currently waiting for my tank to fill, will update only if there is leakage/other issues with elbow fitting.
