This is well designed and vital for keeping a cat safe. One of our cats wears it happily and we’re comfortable knowing he’s safe on our 7th floor lānai. Our little kitty, however stands stiff legged in her harness then falls over straight legged in a perfect imitation of a dead cat. It’s hilarious. It keeps her safe & serves well for carrying her to the car to put her in their tent to drive to the vet, but it hardly works as a way for her to enjoy the out of doors! Win some lose some!Nice and soft and keeps our kitties safe. Highly recommend.

Loved the product, fit as expected. Leash is a bit too short for our cat lol "Fluffy Butt Of The North" out-grew it @ 6 months. Had no issues getting her to wear it. I did leave the vest on her in/out till she was used to it. Held her snug, and not to tight. I will be getting her the next size up. The fix for the really short leash (Thin Para Cord 7$) holds a human 500lb+ super thin allowing plenty of movement. Made a perfect pair <3

Works well. Cat prefers this one as opposed to one with more narrow straps. Just be careful because if cat rolls around they may be able to wiggle out.

I have this harness is XS-L for both my cats. I got it originally when going on a trip, and love the velcro/strap-clip combo and attachment rings for added security. The color and reflectors are great for low light and shows up well with a flashlight.My 11-12.5lb adult cat fits the well-worn medium, the large is way too big for security, but if she’s being fussy, I just make her wear it so I can see her better. A leash would he useless- she’d pull right out of it.My kitten got this XS at 3 months, and is still wearing it though its getting tight at 5.5 months. The S is way too big. She absolutely loves it and feels so cool just like her big sister. She doesn’t care that the S is so big, but I wouldn’t trust her outside for real on it. Other cats might be pickier.Overall great harnesses, durable, comfortable, and secure- if your cat fits in the size range.

TLDR: CATS CAN WIGGLE THEIR HEADS OUT OF THE HARNESS AND ONCE THEIR HEAD IS OUT, THEY CAN CAN ESCAPE! If you have a domestic shorthair with a chest girth between 12 to 14 inches, buy both a small AND a medium to see what works best.My cat's chest girth is 12.5 to 13 inches. I bought a medium. My cat was able to slip out of this by bending it's head forward and wiggling out. BEWARE. Thankfully, this happened at home.The product itself, in terms of materials and build etc., is fine but we all know that once cats can fit their head through something, they can fit their entire body--and that's exactly what mine did. I'm going to buy a small and see what happens.Thing is, the small might be too tight on it's chest, but then the cat probably won't be able to escape. That said, if it's too tight on the cat's chest, then that's a safety hazard on top of being painful and uncomfortable.

Size was snug even though I selected a larger size than recommended. My cat managed to twist out within a minute just by backing up with tension on the leash. Needs a restraint around the back legs to prevent this, but the cat may not care for the constraint.
