Must-have for a DIYer. Has been right every time
I'd give it 5 stars but the instructions that come with the device need some improvement. The scans have been correct every time. There are some other features with the app that received high praise from a friend of mine who has been a certified mechanic for over 20 years. I do recommend buying the "OBD2 Extension Cable 1.9FT/60CM OBD2 Cable for Cars Trucks Vans 16 Pin OBD Extension Cord by Rapify" to go with this device. You never know if your OBD2 port will be in a tight location.

Software not included
The brief instructions on the box simply list a website. There are no instructions on the website, just a variety of scammy looking applications. I chose one for Windows and Google blocked it, saying it was dangerous. Next I tried getting android apps from Google Play. The free apps are full of ads and will not connect to this device via Bluetooth or WiFi. I did not try any paid apps as I did not trust them. Avoid this device. Choose one that comes with software. I ended up going to an auto parts store that performed a free scan.

Accurate, convenient, and not bulky.
I am very happy with this obd2 scanner. Its very accurate and not bulky. There are no hanging wires from anywhere and it works perfectly with the application. You cant get a better obd2 better scanner for the price.

JUNK !
Junk!Do not purchase. Unable to use without having to purchase the iPhone app. This should be disclosed up front. Unable to return for I did not need to use it and 30 says have passed.
