It too concerned if the coating peels off as you can always shoot it with some heat resistant black in the future, but fits great on my 2.5” OD factory exhaust on my 2003 4.7L V8 4Runner, maybe caused a slight change in tone, but most importantly of this part, it looks great!

Sporty muffler tip, new car look after
I bought this for my car and it was perfect. The car looks better as it is a commuter car. The price was great and the quality of it is solid. I may look into getting some for my other car. There are three bolts that need to be tightened, the inside is perforated so I think it helps give off a different tone than the stock tip.

Product is great
I bought the product at the max measurements that it extended to. I was thinking it wasn't going to fit around my exhaust. It took some time because the screws on the sides come all the way out and would keep falling out because of the size of my exhaust, but eventually, I got it on. It makes my exhaust sound a lot deeper and more mean, and I would definitely recommend buying it when you get a new exhaust kit/set.

Fit was tight for a standard 2007 Ford Ranger, but with some slight modification, the pipe fit over the existing one and now truck looks refreshed. Cheap and quick improvement. Quality seems good enough, we'll see how it holds up with time. Feels sturdy though.

It did not fit a 1999 chevy blazer, it could be that my pipe was too short, cut by the previous owner. It's metal and power coated.
