Jennifer's Mosaics School Specialty Reusable Square Plastic Mosaic Coaster Mold, 4 in

This is a great mold. If you've ever tried removing resin from a clear plastic Yaley mold, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the ease of this plastic mold.About the label: yes it's stupid to place the label inside the mold, but the adhesive is truly a non issue. It peeled off in one piece under a trickle of cold tap water and left zero residue.I used the white opaque casting resin as a test. It demolds in 5 min. I just slapped it on my counter and the resin fell out perfectly.If your resin is cured and you put the mold in the freezer, getting it out is no more difficult than working with any other plastic mold!!!!!

I've had excellent results every single time with this sturdy square coaster mold - but I have only used it with Jennifer's Mosaics Indoor Cement. I coat the inside of the mold with a thin film of vaseline and put my tiles face down on contact paper before setting them in. No need to freeze it, the coaster pops right out. (I also have the circular coaster mold, but have only used that one once since it was very, very difficult to remove from the mold. So if you're undecided on shape, go square!)

Works well, I use oil to coat the mold when using concrete. I dislike that the sticker is placed on the mold surface. Had to clean adhesive residue off of mold before I was able to use it.

So far loving this mold. I was a little concerned with it being so stiff but I didn't end up having any issues. Great price and it works perfectly for what I wanted. Wish the corners weren't quite so rounded but that's just a personal preference.

Placement of the product stickers is all wrong - took forever to get residue off before using the mold. Place stickers on the back of the product!

I read the reviews and I saw that some people had a hard time getting it out using Resin but there was one stating that she did have a problem but when she put it in the freezer it popped out. Well that is a lie! i put mine in there for 5 minutes, tried it. Still didn't come out. Tried it for longer each time and it still didn't come out. So I wasted money times 2 because I purchased two of them so I could work faster but its pointless if they don't even come out. So this doesn't work for Resin mold if you plan on using it for that.

The product was delivered and looked the same as it did on the computer, but upon trying to remove my resin it had to much retention. Even with the use of the model releasing agent the resin was next to impossible to remove from the mold.

I bought two of these and two of the clearer plastic ones. I could barely get the mold out of this one. The light plastic one worked much better. Not only are they more flexible and easy to push the mold out, but you can somewhat see what is going on from underneath. I just ordered two more of the clearer ones.

Love this item have 3 now and always use vaseline this allows you to take out the mold very easy
