Crosstour Digital Photo Frame

I have several thousand JPEG images that contain EXIF Orientation metadata, which means the displaying device should rotate the image before display. Saving JPEGs this way is common on many digital cameras, phones and tablets. These images are correctly rotated in Windows Explorer, GIMP and other applications.Cons:The frame doesn't correctly rotate JPEG images honouring the image EXIF orientation metadata. The result is that the frame displays some of these images upside down or on their side.The frame intermittently failed to initialise when turned on with a USB stick inserted. Had to unplug and reinsert the stick to get the images on the stick to display.

I bought it for an elder family member who is not Very familiar with newest technology, but i managed to explain Everything clearly.Frame is lovely and shows pictures in good quality. It has various customise options. I am happy for this purchase.

I use it to show my holiday photos. It cycles nicely through them. It claims to show them in date order, but i suspect therelevant date is the last time it was edited, not necessarlity when it was taken. The picture quality is good, and does not vary unduly as the viewing position moves up and down, unlike some other makes. It offers various styles of transition. I have not used it for video or sound.I drive mine from a USB; I cannot speak for other sources.To use the settings is a bit complex, but I got there in the end. The instructions are somewhat limited and the call service told me I could not remove the (current) date and time from the display. Not true - I have done so.Overall I am very happy with it.

Bought the Digital Photo Frame as a present for my mother so I wanted to load plenty of pictures ready. At first I found that I couldn't view the photographs on my SD Card even though they were in the correct format but it worked fine on a USB. Someone from Mars Elec sent me a courtesy email and helped me resolve the problem, an issue with the SD card itself, and all is working fine now. I was very pleased with the promptness and professionalism of the support. Everything works fine now and I'm pleased with the Photo Frame. Thanks guys

My previous digital frames had firmware limits on the number of photos they would host. This one does not - it seems to be limited only by the storage of the media used. Picture quality is excellent, and properties such as contrast, brightness, hue, etc, are easily adjustable through the menus. Setup is simple, with clear menu options. Only 2 weeks old, so cannot yet make a sensible comment on durability, though it seems physically robust. This screen however is definitely in the good category.

Really great product. Didn't even need the directions to figure out how to use it. It was as simple as plug and play. Very user friendly in my opinion. Remote comes with batteries and the frame is just plug in. Super easy set up, as soon as I inserted my usb it started auto playing the contents. It is a Christmas gift for hubby and pretty sure he would love it. It is even auto playing the music files I had on the usb. I allocated lot of time thinking will need to read the booklet etc. So glad I can now focus on the other last minute Christmas chores.

Really good digital frame.Easy to set up and use.Brought 32gb at card to use in it and it holds loads of photos.I like the way it plays photo at random so mixes the pics up.Very please with this purchase and came in a lovely box which was ideal as it was intended for a gift.

The item itself works okay. My problem is rotating some pictures. I have contacted the seller - but they never got back to me. The remote has a 'rotate' function but the photo isn't ten saved in that rotation. There is nothing in the instructions booklet about rotation or rotation lock. I have tried changing the orientation on my computer before saving them to a USB drive - but the digital frame pays no attention to that and STILL puts the photo in the wrong orientation.So frustrating. Would not recommend this item.
