Overall really good, just not perfect
Pros: for the money, it’s pretty great. Given our property is 4.5 hours away, this helps give us some buck intel when we can’t check trail cam cards. Set up is a little wonky, but I’d still say it’s easy (that said, I’m a software developer so tech is easier for me). The app does what I expect and I haven’t had any issues with it not working. As long as the batteries are good to go, I get my photos when I expect them.Cons: I really only have 2, though I’ll be a bit long winded to explain. The first is battery life. I understand that it could be related to the batteries, but I’ve used the premium Energizer Lithium AAs in it, as with all my cams and it still sucks them dry quicker than I’d like. I think I got about 2 months of life out of the first ones and only had it set to connect twice a day. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a regression compared to today’s high quality cameras. Which brings me to the other slight negative... when it’s uploading, the camera attached to it won’t take photos. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, until you realize that having it set to anything but the fewest number of connections/uploads per day is the only way to go. Setting it to upload photos immediately would be too much risk of it taking and then uploading the photos of a doe or small buck, and then in the process of uploading 30 seconds later, anything that would trigger the camera wouldn’t get photographed (E.g a mature buck walks by undetected). That said, having it upload just 2x a day isn’t bad and fixes the ethical dilemma of hunting a property while the camera and modem are running. This is because on the 2x per day setting, it’s uploading every 12 hours - so if you set it up at 1:30pm, you’ll get photos delivered to the app daily at 1:30pm and 1:30am.All in all, it’s pretty solid and I’d recommend to anyone wants to get pics delivered digitally, but it’s not good enough to get a perfect 5 star rating.

Good value for your money, easy setup.
Modem was very easy to set up and use, just follow directions. Make sure you set the camera up as thumbnail at beginning or you will use up data very fast, 1 HiResolution picture equal 35 thumbnails, wish Moultrie would give the option of somewhere in the middle, only offers hires or thumbnails. And beware if you get too big of a data plan and dont use it all it will not roll over, you lose it. Other than that i really like it, plan on getting another to use with my other camera soon.

It’s great
I love it but the battery life is poor it went down to 60% in 3 days I have it on a solar panel and it stays between 50 and 70%. It has cliched 3 times 2 times saying it was dead and the first night out it said it was not connected to the cam but once I got a photo it said it was fine. The prices are a little high but all in all a great product if you already have a moultrie camera.

Pics up any movement well!
It worked well although some pics weren't real clear but sometimes that was how the lighting came through the trees. I had it out for about 5 days and it took over 750 pics of deer, raccoons, foxes, squirrels, and even my daughters dog running. I had it set up behind my daughters house on the river so I could see how often deer were walking behind her house and I was shocked at how many pics of deer it took!

Great! (As long as you research before you buy!)
Do your research to verify that you will have coverage in the area that you place it (which I did). What I did not know was that it is one modem per camera so I had to buy and activate 2 modems. My use for these devices is unorthodox. I use them to record 2 legged animals that are breaking into my remotely placed shelters. I caught a few people where they shouldn't be! So they paid off and were way cheaper than going with a traditional Solar powered CCTV system!

Please read before repurchasing this Product
Bought this product in April 2019. My modem did not work .would not. Connect to server. Contacted Moultrie support and they were great about sending a new modem when they received my defected one. Once I got this set up on my hunting club property i think it does well with sending pictures . BUT HOWEVER I get Notifications about 2 times a week that my moultrie modem not the camera. Battery is low and at 0% and I know I put fresh AA lithium batterys in both. Camera and modem. About 10 mins later I check the modem status from Moultrie modem app and it says modem batterys 100% and we have 4 Moultrie Modem set ups on our hunting property and all of us have the same issue. ALSO very disappointed with the fact you can switch your camera from Pictures to video from the app. But. Once you do that you will no longer recieve pics and videos do not upload to Moultrie Mobile app. So if you switch to video the modem is USELESS AT THIS POINT. That really does not help the fact that I'm and 1.5 hrs away from my hunting club. So it's not a trip right up the street to pull my chip if I would like to view videos. Called Moultrie mobile support and even they were puzzle and had no idea. You could not view videos from your app. That was something they said they would keep as notes. Smh. The whole purpose of this set up is to keep from having to visit and pull chips and keep pressure off your hunting areas. DUE to these errors and issues. My hunting club and neighboring hunting clubs have decided to go with another brand that allows you to view videos and pics from home hope this helps guys

Works good
Modem works good, easy to install, just plugged there supplied cord in to the the camera and modem and turn on. Starting working immediately, just make sure to use alkaline batteries, I get mine grime the dollar store and after 3 weeks and a couple hundred pics still has 80 percent in modem and 100 in camera. Well worth the money.

Getting pics as I write this
Just got this today, got it set up and working with no problem. Carry it to my hunting spot and hooked it up. Put a 12v battery with both. Been waiting on pictures. Just got dark and the pictures are coming in. Set it up for immediate but going to change it for 2 times a day. Don’t want it going off all night, got to work tomorrow. Set it to text and set on 30 sec , going crazy! So far it’s great!
