Terrible
Absolutely terrible. Do not fall for the "made in usa" appeal. They hurt the back of my heels from the getgo, then the sole completely separated from the shoe. Worse than anything I've bought made in China. How a soldier would ever wear these things in duty is downright laughable. See attached pic.

Good, Solid Boot
I know that it is a jungle boot, but I bought it for winter walking through unplowed and unshoveled walks on the way to work and with my dog. We just had a snowstorm, and the boots performed well in the snowy and cold conditions. The Vibram sole had good grip on both hard-packed and drifted snow, keeping my feet warm and dry.The lacing system evenly distributed tension along the entire length of the tongue, the laces are easy to tie and keep tied. As a military spec boot, it takes a shine well and keeps it. I work in a business casual environment where they are fussy about footwear, and nobody has commented on the fact that I am wearing a military boot. The boots broke in quickly, and within a week I was walking without any discomfort, and without any folds or breaks in the finish on the boot.

Fairly good
THese boots are good quality. I haven't worn much - just around town (busy wearing them in). However, please note, they are heavier than the similar boots with "panama style" sole. and These boots are thicker/higher profile. So i prefer the panama style soled boots to these 3-layer style boots - because the panama style are lighter and lower profile.But...these are still good quality boots, comfortable, and easy to wear. Very nice buy.

same but different
after 20 years, it was time to get a new pair of jungle boots. thought i'd give the sierra soles a try.the soles are comfortable, but very squeaky. not highly tactical.a quarter size smaller than usual might be a better fit.besides the squeak, i'm not a fan of the padded collar. would have liked an option for the sierra sole and traditional collar.

defently ment for work & not stomping in the woods
the brand is great, long last last. jungle boots i swear by them but jungle work boots? new to me. same great quality, the bottoms can handle the pound of shovels & its nice having vents in a set of work boots but are defently high profile compared to normal jungle boots. jungle boots are narrow, low to the ground. when you add higher profile u do need to pay little more attention to where ur steping. i would of hurt my self several times already if jungle boots didnt already have good ancle support. thats the only reason why i gave them 4 stars instead of 5. they are good for work but never would want to find my self marching in the woods or swimming accross a river with them. if this is ur main use then go for normal ones ot just buy both.

Altama is known for durable boots.
I have long been a fan of Altama boots because they last almost forever. This is the first black pair I have owned, and I have had poor luck with black boots. But so far I like what I see. PS be sure to use a good boot sock.

They were nice
The boots looked durable, and had a very nice sole. The issue was that they were huge :/ the same size in a pair of Ariat riding boots fit him, but these gave at least an extra inch or two of space in the toe box. I hope to get a proper refund and possibly order again in the right size...
