Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn, Soft and Bulky Yarn for Knitting, Crocheting, and Crafting, 1 Skein, Bedrock

Love this yarn! This brand/style has become my all-time favorite. It's 20% wool and has a rustic feel to it, but it isn't scratchy. I have purchased it in 4 different colors so far (it comes in over 30). The dyes run true to color so even different dye lots look the same. It's a big chunky yarn so great for scarves and hats. It might be a bit too thick for a sweater, but that's just my opinion. I might try it one day. I can't speak to the durability of this but it's care is easy and it would lend itself well to beginner projects.

Easy to work with, no knots, the yarn worked up pretty quickly. I crocheted it into a hat, and it seems quite soft, thick and warm. I was worried about it being scratchy, or uncomfortable, but it isn’t at all!! The colors are just as beautiful in person too.

Very soft, I’m crocheting with a larger hook to accommodate the thickness and texture. Each skein stays true to color and although a few knots popped up along the strand of yarn they weren’t anything that couldn’t be worked around or that interferes with the yarns use. Plush and lovely for blanket or winter wear. I’m making a blanket and will be ordering more in other colors. Cozy yarn at its best.

I made several beanies with this yarn. The colors /color combination are beautiful. The beanies came out comfortable feeling and very warm. I did notice some colors had more product on them than others. The label says you can wash and dry normally which I can not comment on yet. All in all I very much enjoyed working with this yarn as I made probably around 10 plus beanies in various colors

Perfect for winter hats!! Looks so professional with a simple hdc stitch in the back loop only. Colors pictured are Oatmeal, Toasted Almond, and I can’t remember the green color (purchased that one in-store at Michael’s). Be aware that some colors of Thick & Quick have more yardage than others. I needed to go into a second skein for the Toasted Almond hat (87 yards I think), but Oatmeal needed only one skein (106 yards I think). Just check the labels for yardage.
