The review is good
I like the flavor of the chocolates, but I don’t know if because I sent the chocolate to Mexico when the children open the first day the chocolates weren’t in the correct place.

Easy to fix if chocolates are out of place
I decided to chance the poor reviews here because we used to get this same brand every year as kids, and never had a problem. 6 of the chocolates were out of place when it arrived and I found that you can simply open the side of the package, pull out the tray and put it back together. There is an adhesive that holding the tray in place against the doors but it was no trouble at all to get in there & fix it. This is by no means quality chocolate, but I wasn't expecting that. Happy kids.

Nice Calendar
Product is great but when I received it in the mail all off the chocolates where at the bottom. The calendar was shaken up too much during shipping.

Loose contents!
Regrettably, all the chocolates had fallen to the bottom of the box and were not in their "chambers." Hence, not giftable.

Inedible Chocolate. Cute Calendar
The media could not be loaded. I ordered four other calendars at the same time as this one and received them all mid-October 2022. They were stored together, and the only reason I am specifying this is that the quality difference is huge and is due to poor storage, but is not due to customer (me) storage. This calendar has an expiration date for September, 2023. The four other calendars have edible chocolate, but this one is “bloomed” out and dried out so badly that it crumbles into pieces when you try to remove the chocolate. It just gets shaken into the trash can when the calendar “window” is opened, as it’s really not good at all. The big disappointment is that this calendar is pricey in comparison to the dollar store ones that WERE available before the Advent countdown began, but now are not to be found. So one of my family members is shorted an Advent calendar. This was a huge disappointment. The picture is pretty, and we bought this to celebrate the days leading up to the birthday of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, but the quality is severely lacking. Good for those that don’t care for eating chocolate but rather enjoy shaking chocolate into the garbage.

Awesome Advent Tradition
Growing up, my parents always gave us Advent calendars in December. Fortunately, that's an easy tradition to continue. I love Vermont Christmas Company's calendars, which have lovely art, good chocolate, and a Bible verse printed inside the flap. This design is one of my favorites, probably because I've lived my whole life in the arid southwest and never experienced a snowy Christmas.

No lo volvería a comprar
Los Chocolates llegaron todos rotos, y en ninguna ventana había nada al abrirla, al final todo estaba abajo en un chocolate fundido 😠
