Big but effective! To avoid trapping a mouse in the doorway or not catching any mice, do not wind the trap more than 10 - 15 times. Doing so overtensions the spring mechanism allowing mice to walk through the trap without triggering the door mechanism or catching the mice as some users have experienced. Check out YouTube!

I’m revising my review: original review below, but my picture should speak for itself.... if I wanted to kill mice I would’ve purchased snap traps. This device is a glorified, more expensive version of an old fashioned death-trap. I’m throwing them all away! They’re junk! They’re cruel! I’ll kiss my $60 bucks goodbye and scour the web for a trustworthy trap. I seriously can’t express how disappointed I am in this product.I bought 3. They all functioned well the first go ‘round, but one of them paralyzed one mouse and killed another before I finally just threw it out. I guess “2 out 3 ain’t bad”, but I purchased this product specifically to NOT kill or maim creatures, and this item is not guaranteed to preserve life. So, there’s that...

this thing works great, its a little hard to bait properly but once you set it up .. it works like a charm. i caught more lizards then mice but ... i live in south florida so i was not surprised. if you dont like killing animals ... this is the best trap ...

Used these for years, "Ketch-All" brand is a better quality. These are cheap knock offs, the edges are razor sharp when handling and fit is just OK-- BUT they work. Bait them once, ten turns on the clock spring and you're set to go.

I don't know if really works our mice seem smart haven't went in. But still I don't have to worry about dog getting poison with it.

I set this trap in my storage shed and got 16 mice in 5 days.

Goid as a catchall and better price.
