Next to Kodak, second best, using larger film obviously is the only way, anyone who does not comprehend this has no business being a photographer,let alone claiming to be a PROFESSIONAL, today people think the word digital camera makes them proficient, if so, onlyIn the fact that they are computer literate.

An incredibly detailed and beautiful film
Ilford Delta 100 has a very fine grain and captures every detail. Very easy to work with and can handle pushing and pulling. I get my best results developing in Xtol.All the Kodak films I have used curl up along the length of the film (i.e., the sprocket holes get closer to each other), but so far all the Ilford's I have used dry nice and flat.

Ilford delta is probably the best B&W film I've used
Ilford delta is probably the best B&W film I've used; it has a lovely long tonal range (far better then HP5 IMO), excellent sharpness (especially when paired with Rodinal), and super fine grain.
