Very good hot sauce for many things. We enjoyed it when we lived in Costa Rica so to get it here in the US is double good. Multi-use sauce that compliments meats, salads, bocitas, & tapas.....

Love this sauce
I've had Lizano Chile from nicaragua, and to me it is a huge improvement over Tabasco, which i find too sweet.Lizano Chile on eggs, bloody mary, whatever... amazing sauce!I'm from the US, soObviously if I am seeking out lizano chile on the web and willing to order, it shows how special i think this sauce is.i think if it was sold in the US, Tabasco would have strong competition for that universal mass appeal sauce for every table.maybe why they dont introduce it here. :) I've never seen this in stores."Lizano Chile" is NOT the same as "Lizano Chilero" from Costa Rica, Beware!Here's the difference:- "Lizano Chile" from Nicaraugua: Only peppers on the label. Appears Dark Red. Tastes smoky. Wonderful flavor I haven't found before.- "Lizano Chilero" from Costa Rica: Peppers and tomatoes on the label. Appears orange. Tastes like Buffalo wing sauce, slightly like Tabasco.I can't wait to find Lizano Chile available to buy, too bad it is out of stock, and not sold anywhere on the web! :-(
