Excellent quality
Most Japanese made tools don’t disappoint in terms of quality, accuracy and ingenuity and this measuring gauge is no exception. I will be buying the smaller size too.

A well made ruler, period!
rulers are not complicated things and yet quite a number of those I bought in the have defects that made me dislike them, such as thick marks, bad finishing (like raised sharp edges) a shiny reflective surface and the imprecise cut at the beginning so it's not clear if the first mm is correct or square. This ruler addressed all these problems and the use of only metric units makes the surface look neat and not busy.

Sometimes a tape measure won’t do
Bought to hand blinds to make making the markings simpler than using a tape measure, used on several other jobs since. Seems well made, very happy with it.
