I bought these because my autistic son keeps trying to climb out the windows and leave. I needed an immediate solution. Arrived quick (thank you Amazon), easy to install, affordable. We installed one on each side of the lower part of the windows so that there would be even pressure on each side when he tried to open them. Anyhow, he can open the windows a couple inches, but he can’t climb out, which is really important because we live by many dangers. We can also easily still open the windows from the top for fresh air. I definitely recommend. I wish I had know about these years ago.

Secure and Strong.
I was having doubts about ordering this product since window safety is not the place where you want to compromise. Well, it exceeded my expectations. Installation was easy and the windows are well secured. My husband and I took turns testing the windows in our house and the cords held up well and secured as expected.

Mismatched keys / locks
Each item comes with a different key (while previous reviews indicated that the same key could be used to open ALL 4 locks). However, two of the four locks were shipped with the wrong keys!! As a result, I have two locks in place with their corresponding keys and another two that cannot be opened or locked.

Not Sure How to Use With Screens
I bought these to limit how far our casement windows could be opened. I received the product and thought they seem well made and durable, I can’t see how these could be used with screens. Since screens are a requirement in Michigan I will be returning and looking for an alternate solution. Bottom line: I’m sure they’d work well for the right application but I don’t believe casements with screens is one of them.
