Fun book with do-able projects
I got this for my son for Christmas and he loved it. As soon as he unwrapped it, he lost all interest in everything else going on and was lost in the book. Before he went home, he showed me the page with the first thing he was going to try. His wife is not going to be as thrilled with the book, as it had some "sneaky" attack lobbers along with the more obvious ones. Let's just say, she should be careful opening drawers for a while. All of the projects seem to be fairly easy to accomplish, although you may not have everything just laying around the house. The book is fun and definitely a good gift for anyone that likes to put things together and also launch or lob objects across the room.

on lockdown due to coronavirus....Basically every material you need just might be in your house
I mean it's really just like um how should I say this. Its a book for more of entertaining yourself and/or maybe a young child potentially wanting to maybe make some type of random explosive ranged toy/weapon that could potentially give Grandma a heart attack or just blow up in your face or maybe you know break your kitchen window out or something but it really is concentrated on what I would call is household crappery materials for building these things one or two of them use some PVC one is extremely dangerous I guarantee that if you are overpowered it might not be coming home without a serious injury I'll just say one word at the end of the book there's a wrist mounted air or fuel powered rocket like a wrist crossbow gauntlet. Some random orders definitely mess with your neighbors.

Fun stuff!
It's a very good book for someone that is handy with tinkering with stuff. Some of the item's to build are pretty complicated some modifications are needed. Also, some of the item's are not truly functional if build as described in the book. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good book. I do recommend it my friends.

Practical versus impractical.
Some of the ideas are very neat, but others are not very practical. Some are very useful for a beginner stem/makers, Others require a bit of skill.

There are projects you can make with kids immediately!
And others that require more time. I've made the catapults with a couple of groups of kids and they are easy and fun. With extra time the kids modded the catapults to hold extra ammo and to stand up.I've also made the multi-rubber-band launcher and it was a satisfying experience to make and to play with. Great instructions, simple easily-available components...makes me look like I know what I'm doing.

Good book
Great book. Gave it to my 12yr for xmas and he has made almost everything in it. Destroyed a few spoons... but good projects to work on instead of gaming so big WIN!
