9 inch Long VES DVD TV Screen Repair Ribbon Cable for 2007-2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Durango & Chrysler Town Country

I bought this ribbon cable to repair the DVD screen on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. The product works great, and the DVD player is back in service. It wasn't an easy fix, but that's not any fault of the product. After watching a few YouTube videos, I realized that I needed to remove the entire overhead console to access the DVD player. All said and done, it probably took me about an hour and a half to swap out the cable. It was well worth the effort to have the DVD player functional again - and without a costly trip to the dealer.

Just what I needed. 2013 T&C rear DVD was blacked out. Head unit would not turn on rear ves. Took the chance and ordered this strip and put it in and it works perfectly now. Mine was about 9 inches long and the new one is about 11 inches long but that's good because it allows room for when the screen is pushed open beyond what it is designed to. Be sure to count your pins. I almost ordered the wrong one and glad I noticed.

I just saved a ton of money fixing my broken VES on my own. My vans 2nd row DVD player stopped working...it would display the chrysler screen and then it would go blank. A few YouTube videos later, I found out the likely culprit is a worn out/creased/cracked ribbon and it's relatively easy to fix. Replacing this ribbon on my own literally just saved me likely $1,000 the dealership would have charged. I'm beyond grateful.

I can't tell you the relief to see this part saved me $1000 bucks. Worked perfectly and fit just right. Thank you so much. Took some time to remove VES system from ceiling of minivan but overall about an hour to fix once you watch video.

Worked great to fix 2010 Dodge Journey Rear VES that wont power on. Once it was replaced it worked perfectly.

I am incredibly irritated. This replacement process using this ribbon is a time consuming and sometimes stressful one.We were in the middle of the process and noticed that this one was longer than our broken ribbon. But it got great reviews so we went with it.WELP it does not work--- our original ribbon was 9 inches long as this item is supposed to be. The ribbon sent, and the one we installed, was more like 11 inches long.... so now we have to order from another company and repeat the entire process over again.When you get your ribbon, MEASURE that it is 9 inches long. The code on it should also read AWM 20861 105C 60V. If it does not... abort mission immediately.

YES... YES.... I have VES again... Kids Happy = Mom and Dad happy.... research what you are doing take your time find something to put screws and bolts in... some covers snap on to get to screws ... take pictures along your way... so can put it back... YOU CAN DO IT.
