Bike stands up too upright
There are not a lot of options for aftermarket kickstands for the CRF250r. I went with this one because the price was reasonable (even thought it’s still outrageous for a kickstand). It stands the bike up way too upright. If you need to use it you better be looking for a good spot to lean it over because if not, your bike will topple over. I find myself digging a hole to use the kickstand most of the time. I got it because I ride with my daughter and need to jump of quickly to help her since she’s 8 and a brand new rider. Finding a tree quickly wasn’t working. This option isn’t working much better either. I’ve just let my bike fall over multiple times now. Even on flat ground I’m nervous it will fall over and always give it a good shake.

Excellent quality
Needed a kick stand for trail riding and decided to try this one out.Pros: It was a pleasant surprise to find a complete kick stand kit and the time it took to fit it was also a bonus. Easy fitment process and light weight. Quality of components is also quite good. Plenty strong enough for starting the bike on the stand and resists sinking into the ground well. Even when riding hard and jumping small jumps the stand stays put. Folds up high like a ktm stand does.Cons: Only thing to pick on would be the foot peg replacement bracket was not silver like the original Honda one. Easy fix with silver paint.

A must have kick stand
Great fit, looks factory. Riding over bumps, whoops, etc - no movement. The kickstand stays up when its supposed to be up and stays down when it is supposed to be down. What more can you ask for?

Its nice quality but the kick stand is too long
Its nice quality but the kick stand is too long. Pushes the bike right over. i have to go find a low spot to even come close to using the kick stand. 2012 crf450r.

5104-00 is the new machined aluminum version.The image at time of order still showed the original model. Looks amazing!!!

Must Have for the CRF450R
Fast Install! Top quality build. The stand looks OEM and can hold the riders weight to kick start the bike. I have used this in soft stand to hold up the bike and its great!
