Makita837247-1 Makpac Moulded Inlay

I absolutely love Makita tools and products and this item is no exception apart from one letdown which I will address shortly, as with all things Makita it’s bulletproof and made to last, it’s robust and sewn together with what looks like quality thread, I have no doubt it’ll be around for many years to come, that’s the best part of this review. I bought this divider bag to help protect my new router trimmer and the supplied bases and to stop them all from banging against each other in transit and to keep all the little screws and bolts in the separate sections, this, in my opinion is where the bag fails, I discovered that the separate compartments are indeed not separate, well not completely separate, they are all open at the base of the bag, in other words, when you drop small items into the bag, they become all mixed up, it would have been far better to have completely closed off compartments because some attachments have small fittings like an Allen key or small machine screws that need to be kept together with said attachments, when I bought this item I thought that’s it, all my stuff neatly divided and where I can find them without having to root around in a black bag looking for small black screws etc in a dimly lit house I’m working in, not so, apart from that it’s a great product.
