Godiva Chocolatier Truffle Flight, Chocolate Nuts, Nut Lovers, 3.9 Ounce

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to say that this chocolate is delicious with a really nice presentation. As a small gift for someone it arrived quickly and with free shipping.When I first got into gourmet chocolates almost 20 years ago, Godiva was at the top of the list. These days you can get any kind of artisan chocolate conceived of, and Godiva is just one of many chocolatiers (honestly they have too much sugar for me.)This flight is different, I had it on my list since 2018, and wish i would have gotten it a lot sooner. As someone who likes to give gifts (in general) and even to colleagues and distant relatives, this makes a perfect, tasty, and nicely packaged gift at a fair price point.It did not arrive with an ice pack, but could be because its February, although I live in Arizona it was perfectly chilled and not melted at all.

I ordered this as a test, sending it to myself before I later try to send it as a gift. It's August, so ordering chocolate is usually a no-no but I decided to test their Warm Weather Guarantee.I can report complete success! Temps reached 89 degrees today, but the chocolate was not melted. The shipped package comes with an insulating pack containing frozen ice packs - the ice packs were half-melted but obviously they did the trick, and I think the package would have been fine sitting on my front porch for the entire afternoon and into the evening (based on the melting at 4:00 when I opened the package - I think it would have been fine until after 7:00, perhaps later ).The chocolate itself is good - it's Godiva, so if you've had it before, you know the quality. The flavors are as described on the product page, and while not all those flavors were to my personal tastes, that is immaterial - the gift chocolate is fun, colorful, original - and since it passed the shipping test, I have to say it's an all-around winner!

I received these tasty treats for my birthday. Ordered a box for a friend who loved them. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

I have given this twice for a gift and each time the recipient was quite happy with it. The chocolate is of a good grade and each truffle is relatively large and has a different flavor profile. The presentation is top notch - the box is well proportioned, thoughtfully designed and made of quality materials, the decoration on the truffles is really pleasing to the eye - it is a visually impressive gift.If it is value in terms of chocolate by weight, this isn't the best choice of course. You can get more chocolates of the same quality for a lower price elsewhere. However, if you want a classy gift to send out for a birthday, anniversary, congratulations, I would recommend it. For example, I sent it to my Grandma as a thinking-of-you sort of thing, and to my friend as congratulations on their new baby. It isn't too much chocolate or too little, it's just fancy enough to elevate itself over standard supermarket box chocolates without getting pretentious.

Ooh, boy, these are the best truffles. This birthday set has different flavors than the other Godiva collections. These arrived in fine condition. I have sent this box as birthday presents several times and the recipients have always loved them. It is just the right size and comes in a very pretty box. Treat yourself and your friends. I highly recommend these truffles.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise this was. It was a lovely surprise for my cousin, the recipient, but also for myself! I ordered these chocolates for her because I had no idea what to get her and figured, who doesn't love Godiva?! I ordered them three days before her party and two days before a massive heat wave here in Northern California! I was SO stressed out about their delivery, not knowing exactly when they would arrive. I knew I wouldn't be home all day and didn't want them to be left outside in the heat but just didn't know what to do! I checked with neighbors, could they receive the package for me and the refrigerate it for me? - Nope, no one was home during that time! I put out a cooler with ice and a note to the driver to please put the package in there. Well, I need not worry at all. Godiva is a class act and had it all covered! The chocolates arrived beautifully boxed and protected with ice packs labeled, Godiva. I was so relieved and impressed and of course, the gift was a huge hit! Thanks, Godiva!

I didn't receive the pineapple one, and the birthday cake one was super squished

We have a mother who is totally addicted to chocolate truffles. This week she turned 90 a milestone birthday. So we ordered two lovely boxes of these Godiva Birthday Truffles in an attempt at decadent extravagance! First of all they arrived earlier than expected which was a plus as we figured they would not get there in time for her birthday. And they arrived packed in some special cooler and special ice packs. That alleviated the concern about sending chocolate in the hot summer season. She was over the moon and promptly ate them all right away. She is using the cooler for something else now and has the icepacks in the freezer for reuse. Thanks Godiva for helping to make the birthday more special!
