This is going to be a 3 in 1 review between KNIPEX 4 (K 4"), KNIPEX 5 (K 5") and the Wrkpro 4. (W 4") All are great little EDC carry pliers. Both the KNIPEX feel like they have higher grade steel for sure. The Workpro steel is not as high grade steel in my opinion but the things are very impressive for the money. It is actually a no brainer to get this one cause of the price and design. I like that it has a lanyard hole in the handle. Unfortunately the steel quality is not as strong and has little more play and not as high machining tolerances. If a professional or using it everyday or going on a motorcycle trip cross country the 5 inch Knipex are a real capable tool. Just yesterday I was working on a small engine repair and the K 5" was my go to. It was good pulling springs into place, turning losen bolts, nut even pulling spark plug cap. Very handy and comfortable just a little litterly an inch if that bigger. If you had to crank down on a 17mm you might be able to do this with the K 5" were the other smaller 4 " could not. Just remember when you are cranking on a bolt and your pliers fail or lose grip where is your hand going to be. Not fun racking your knuckles with a small little wrench. The practicality of you runing into having to tighten a big bolt with no other wrenches around will justify carrying the K 5 or K4 that are much easier to carry. The KNIPEX 4 (K 4") and WRKPRO4 ( W 4") are 2 great little pliers. THe K 4" is probably bettter for more meticulous jobs. If you want a more precision tool, demand better steal and dont mind paying double the price the Knipex are the way to go. The Knipex 4" also It doesnt snag like the Workpro that has a blue adjustment button on the side (same style as K 5") ALSO NOTE return on Knipex Pliers. You CANNOT drop off at whole foods or UPS store. You have to pack in a Box and either ship or take to an AMAZON distribution center way across town. With the Workpro 4 inch you can just drop off at Whole foods. Over all if you really dont need a professional grade , everyday tool - The WorkPro 4 inch is the way to go hands down. the lanyard hole, size, price and convenience.

I love Knipex Cobra Pliers. They bite down and hold tight. The adjustable width makes it easy to find just the right size you need for maximum grip. They are very sturdy and versatile, but keep in mind, they will cause "bite marks" on what ever you are grabbing with you pliers. Sometimes, you just need a nut off and don't care about the looks of it afterwords. As long as it is off, mission accomplished! As you can see in my photo, I like these so much, I have several of them in different sizes. Try them once and they will become you go to pliers.

After I modified them and softened the edges, they feel so good in the hand, and the teeth profile is perfect will grab anything!, they fit in my bag nicely. They also fit where I need them to fit with the adjust profile. Also the size is perfect for its capacity. What a nice set and investment

These are amazing little pliers and I wish I had bought them sooner. As the title says, these hit waaaay above their size - very powerful grip, very functional adjustability range, and I love the locking indexing feature. Amazing pocket-sized tool - you won’t regret buying it!!

I couldn’t understand why this thing is so highly reviewed. I bought it anyway to check it out. It’s absurdly high-quality and it grips everything with ease. I find myself using this tiny little thing in place of much larger tools just because it’s so comfortable and sturdy. I’ve used a ton and it still looks new.

I own the 4 and 5" Knipex Cobras. The 4 has a slightly narrower head, is a little shorter and can fit into some serious tight spaces. The 5" pack some serious bite and power, and can out-work larger pliers in almost everything. I also have the Workpro 4". A reviewer has posted a great review of the advantages of the 3 different sets, and I can't add much else. If you have the means I can recommend all 3. The Workpro's were purchased for a range bag, and are half the price. They are a good value, not quite as well made, but a value at Amazon's price.

well worth the price!! these grip and lock as it says. I haven't had these slip and don't think that it ever will. these have been great ever time I have used these. the design is great and is made of only high quality materials. these are the easiest to use because of the locking mechanism. they don't weigh much and are easy to use. I have put lots of force through these and they have never disappointed. I have seen them hold lots of weight through both me and others standing on these while testing them. therefore I don't think weight/for capacity is going to be a problem for anyone.
