I have used these for myself and my young daughter and they have worked wonderfully. I have mostly used them on wet hair, which is far easier to work with when you have more fine texture. They hold well and look good.I was expecting them to be a little softer based on other reviews, but they are still hard plastic. However, due to their shape and curvature, they fit more to the mold of the head and don’t stick out obtrusively. This makes for a far more comfortable hold and much better when leaning the head against things.Value for the money is great and I would recommend these. I am not sure if they would be great for super thick hair that has a lot of volume, such as really curly thick hair. However, they do have good expansion capability, so it may be trial and error. My daughter and I have fine hair, and a lot of it.

Strong clip! My hair length is a little past my shoulder. I can twist my hair up in the back and this clip will hold it in place all day! It doesn't pull and I don't even know it's there. The shape of the clip is very comfortable and doesn't dig into the back of my head if touching a headrest (like in the car). Be sure to look at the sizes because I accidently ordered the wrong size at first. I need "large" to keep all my hair in the clip. I'm so happy I found them!

I purchased these clips to hold my hair up during work, in the hot weather and to get my hair out of my way while washing my face, putting on moisturizers or even brushing my teeth. These clips are made of very durable material, a great thickness to hold your hair tighly without pulling it. The main reason I purchased them is because all the regular hair clips AREN'T FLAT!! These clips are flat and anyone using hair clips and want to rest there head back on a couch or chair or even recline with a clip in knows they hurt and are very uncomfortable. THESE ARE THE VERY BEST CLIPS EVER!! I could actually lay down while I have these clips in with no pain or having to take them out because they lay flat. The VERY BEST FUNCTIONAL CLIPS I have ever purchased -- i ended up needing to purchase extra sets because i gave some to my daughters and granddaughters since they also loved them. They come in beautiful colors too. I Definitely highly recommend these clips.

My expectations were too high. I was hoping these flat claw clips would pull ALL of my hair into some sort of updo that would stay secure for a reasonable amount of time. I was looking for a solution to my hair being damaged by scrunchies & having that hair dent when taken out. My long thick Asian hair that goes halfway down my back was uncooperative with this clip. Although this actually is a large secure clip & opens wide, my hair just seemed to bulky. If this clip was possibly an inch longer and rounded out more in the middle, it might've worked.I was going for a large claw grip that would go in through the side of my updo, so I could have the options to lean back on it slightly. I hoped to drive, lean back on sofa or bed without having to take my hair out & keep it out of my face.That being said, I think this clip is good quality and durable. But it just didn't work for my type of hair. Hope this helps you decide. Thanks.

This design is by far the best hair clip I've ever tried. The wide gripping area distributes the weight of your hair over a wider area, so they don't pull your hair. Regular claw clips are basically torture devices in comparison. This is so comfortable, you forget you're wearing it....seriously. Try them, they are super comfy, cute, and the colors are super. So happy with these! (I have fine hair but lots of it.)

I’ve had these for maybe a week now and they’re great! They look super cute and work on my thin, fine hair. I have very fine and slippery hair and I was worried these clips wouldn’t stay, but they do! They have good grip imo. If they’re slipping out of your hair I suggest twisting it the opposite direction that your sliding it in your hair, this helps to lock in the twist so it doesn’t unravel.My hair is growing out and is about shoulder length atm, and if can fit all my hair in this if I clip it low enough. ALSO, I LOVE that this is flat! Makes driving SO much easier and I don’t have to worry about bumping my clip when I’m in the car. I also sometimes have a problem where the claws in other clips press on my scalp and it is uncomfortable. But with this clip I don’t have that problem

they hold hair well, even thin hair, disappointed that they are made of brittle plastic--two short teeth were broken off (think when packaged at manufacturer) on one of the barrettes. like them

Love these. They look great and do a good job of keeping my long hair up. I really like that they don’t stick out like a normal claw clip and so far they have been pretty durable.
