stila One Step Correct

This works wonderfully. I’m a 43 year old woman with thyroid issues and combo skin. It’s heard to find products that don’t make me look flaky or highlight my pores. This evens out my skin tone, looks smooth over my pores and makes me feel polished and presentable without any makeup on. 10 out of 10. Also, it only takes a pea sized amount, so this bottle will last forever.

I like this over all other correcting creams that I've tried. I got the kitten but next time I might get the mat. It's as nice and shimmery and it looks like you have a morning glow. I use it all over. It does even the skin tone but it doesn't cover up dark dark circles I have to use an extra cream for that. I also have red veins on the sides of my nose from allergies I also use an extra cream to cover those up. But it's a nice if you don't want to wear foundation skin evening lotion

I have have a bit of redness on the sides of my nose. Not very red and not large areas. I just state that by way of clarifying my point of view in this review.Using this helps even out my little bit of redness. The texture of the product is actually rather liquid (not gel or etc), and the product goes on with a mat, slightly dry feel that makes my skin feel very slightly tight. Because of that I feel it on my skin - but I have never found a product that I truly do not feel on my skin. I have sensitive skin and this product doesn't irritate. The product is whipped swirls of the colors that correct tone. I don't spot apply the product just to my problem areas (I'm going to try doing that rather than over all.) I use one full pump of product when applying and I don't use it often (not daily and not even weekly), and it feels like the container gets used up rather quickly. This might be due to the swirly, whipped way the product is in the container. All in all, I like it well enough. If you have dry skin you'll need your moisturizer under this for certain. That said it covers slight redness and evens out skin tone decently well. Again, it held coverage of uneven tone and does not irritate my sensitive skin so I'd say this is pretty good quality, especially for the price point.

Love this product! Wonderful for my 50 year old face. I don’t wear any foundation over it since it evens out my skin tone so nicely. Definitely calms down the redness and gives me a smooth finish. I get complements about how natural my makeup looks when I wear this. So if you like a natural look, this is perfect!

Did the job well.

Overall, I really like this product and will probably continue using it, as I haven't found something else better. I've tried several higher-end color correctors (Dr Jart cicapair, algenist) as well as some more drugstore brand color correcting primers and correcting concealers, and hated them all. None really covered my redness (I have very fair skin, am acne prone, and have the beginnings of mild rosacea), and all sort of sat on top of my skin, got cakey, didn't play well with makeup, etc.The Stila corrector likewise doesn't cover a ton, but it does seem to do a better job of evening out my skintone than others I've tried. Further, it seems to meld really well with my skin - it doesn't feel greasy, but does have a nice hydrating feel to it; the initial finish looks very shiny and tacky, but after about 30-60 seconds it settles in and you have just nice, natural glow - without any stupid glitter. It also seems to make my makeup blend better and last longer through the day, especially over blemishes. My skin is fairly sensitive, and so far (about 10 days of weekday use with breaks on the weekend) it hasn't caused any unusual breaking out. My skin feels very soft and smooth during the day. It has ZERO fragrance, about which I am truly smitten. I also struggle to find products WITHOUT spf, and this fits the bill.For the price, I'd maybe like it to do a bit more for my redness, but it also does seem like the bottle will last a good long while, so it remains to be seen if the value for money is better than my initial impression. In truth, that's probably more just because I'm cheap than anything else; I'll definitely continue buying this product, it makes my skin look lovely.

I love this. So glad I tried it. I wear this now instead of foundation for the no makeup- makeup look. Not only does it even out skin tone but it is so moisturizing. Feels great on my skin. I like it so much I added it to my subscribe and save orders.

Stila one step correct is my go-to primer and has been for years. It’s the perfect match for my fair and sensitive skin - normally I would give this product five stars, but this latest purchase is bad. The product I received looks gross, the coloring is off, and it’s full of an oily substance. I’m not sure if I received a bad batch or if it’s a knock off. This is my fourth purchase from Amazon for this product and will most likely be my last. My next purchase will be made in-person at Ulta or Sephora to ensure I’m getting a quality product. Something is very very wrong with this latest purchase. (See pics)
