MGP Natural Reed Fence, 4'H x 14'L

If you want your balcony to look like a tropical oasis, buy these and wrap them around the balcony. They look so stylish and keep me from worrying about my cats being out on the balcony.

1. Some of the bamboo pieces were broke when it arrived but when you install it isn't noticeable.Very easy to install on my balcony rail. I purchased it to block pigeons from entering my balcony and it definitely did the job. Perfect for my small NYC apartment! Definitely recommend.

I knew what I was buying but it was still a shock to see how straw like and thin this stuff is. I was hoping it would be more sturdy like those bamboo sticks used for growing beans (see pic 2) but alas. As other reviewers have said one layer is pretty see-through but doubling up gives a better effect (pic 1). Pic 3 shows you how thin it is. We’re only trying to cover the chain link fence rather than need it for full privacy but it does the job. Pic 4 shows how different it is from real bamboo fencing ha! Overall it’s ok. We tied ours to the fence with cable ties but who knows how long it’ll last! I’m begrudgingly going to buy another one to double up the fence but I don’t think they should be priced at $48!! It’s pretty much just straw. But if you’re looking for the straw / Hawaiian party vibe then this is the stuff for you! Also Amazon these could’ve easily been shipped in 1 box, not 4!

My husband and I got back from a trip to Hawaii and wanted to keep the island spirit alive on our patio. This screen was so easy to use and looks incredible! We didn't really need it for privacy, but it does give us a few extra inches of screen above our half wall, so that's an extra bonus! I'm a smaller woman and it was easy to work with and light enough for me to put it up myself. I used outdoor command strips on the wall to hold the fence in place, and I haven't had any issues with it falling down or anything! Also, we live in Washington, and loved to see that this came from a farm not too far from us!

This thing is cool, but do be warned the straws will get everywhere. High price for the item. Survived some haboobs ( AZ monsoon for the uncultured) 3/5 cool vs price

I bought this to line our front yard fenced in area for the summer, as we had a blow up pool, friends over, dogs and kids playing, and the iron fence we have does not offer hardly any privacy from the super busy street we live on!!From the street it looks more dense and hard to see but surprisingly on our side, we can see through it, which is ideal!!! We used dark brown zip ties to adhere it to the fence already grounded and sturdy so had no issues with it BUT if you do not have a sturdy fence to line it with I can see it being harder to stand on it's own. This was a good, less-expensive option for a quick need/fix. Great buy for this purpose!!!

Easy to roll out on overhead arbor which I secured with lightweight lattice. Keeps out heavy sun rays but has filtered light with tropical feel (I leave on 3miles of open water)
