Great Reliable Pump - used for Agriculture
I used this little electric 12-VDC pump for years to water my garden from a drainage ditch. You may need to add another filter to the input if the water has plant debris. Also, the input hose should be very solid and not prone to collapse due to pressure as it will slow the flow. At the end of season, disassemble the whole motor and thoroughly dry the mechanism to prevent rust and seizure of the motor. Note there are little holes that you need to use with a piece of stiff wire or tooth pick to reassemble the motor.

Perfect for pumping water whether off grid or in power outage.
Excellent little 12V water pump for emergency situations or use off grid. Pair this will small 12V battery or adapt it to the one under the hood of your car and as long as you have a source of water or stored water in a drum, you will be set. Quiet operation with decent output at just above 2GPM. Water connections that come with the pump are kind of cheap but that can be remedied with a trip to the plumbing supply house. Simple operation and a must have for emergency situations when without electrical power.Have this paired with the Ecotemp propane hot water heater and is great for use when road camping or having at the house when power fails. 10 minute setup and have a hot shower.

great value
I looked at different pumps from camper dealers and online. All dealers recommended shurflo pumps only more expensive. I bought the camper knowing the pump needed replaced but Leary of this model because this pump was already installed and bad. Come to find out that the old pump ran fine for almost 10 years. Due to the cost and reviews I purchased this model. Didn't realize how long this model was made, has to be good right? Right!! So far I can't be happier, it works great. Almost as if it were hooked up to pressurized water system. I can here the pump run but not really noisy and not any louder than new model campers.

Perfect replacement for Shurflo 200-210-39
I bought this to replace what I believe to be the factory installed water pump in my 1985 Holiday Rambler camper that I bought for a steal of a deal off CL. The old Shurflo 200-210-39 was fried, and this one was the perfect fit replacement. One wire to ground...other wire to the switched +12V wire from the water pump switch, and VOILA perfect water pressure throughout the RV. None of the more expensive Shurflo pumps are really necessary...just buy this one!

Replacing a 1986 Shurflow with this newer model
Although this pump is a little different on the black pump end it hooked up the same as my old (and I mean old) pump,a Shurflo 300-310-39 that came with my 1986 Citation trailer.The pump is mounted under the bed next to the water tank and taking the mattress of the bed and two screws to gain EASY access that was the hardest part of the job replacing the pump. Undue the two water lines and two wires and install new pump.I think the whole job took about 20 min. I think anyone could do this job depending on how your water lines hook up to the pump, mine is just a nut on each side. It also works great.Jack

Better than I expected
I was in the middle of winterizing my 5th wheel camper when the water pump went out. Called around my area and then checked Amazon for one. I found it cheaper and I didn't have to drive all around town to get it.Easy to install and it works GREAT!!!!! My old one must have been going out for a long time because when this one is pumping you hardly hear it running. The old one would wake up who ever was sleeping on the couch during the night.I would give this pump 10 starts if I could. Best $76 dollars I spent on something for my camper.

Works great in a solar application
I needed a good 12VDC water pump to provide pressurized water to a Camp Chef HWDS Triton Hot Water Heater in a remote camp. I run the pump off of an Optima yellow top battery connected to a solar panel. The pump provided plenty of water pressure and flow to the hot water heater. The pump runs quietly and shuts off automatically when water is not being used. To reduce cycling, I added a SHURflo 182-200 Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank to the output side of the pump. The combination works very well.

Soooo Quite! Thought it wasn't working
Purchased this as a backup in case the one in the RV quit - good thing I did, two week later in the middle on the desert while dry camping the old (1999) pump gave out! Fortunately it didn't quit during my shower but on my wife's. Installed it in about 5 minutes and was the wife's' hero of the day!That was back in October 2011 and it still is whisper quite - never realized how loud our old pump was until we installed this one!Glad I made the purchase! You will be too!
