Radenso Pro SE Radar & Laser Detector

I have only had this detector for about 2 weeks so far, but it is a real win as far as I can tell. The distance out that this thing can detect radar is incredible. I have certainly caught Ka band as far as 2 miles or a bit more out. Yes, it does not have all the bells and whistles of say the Escort Max360, but it certainly outperforms a ton of other detectors, including the aforementioned as well as is right up there with the gold standard for many which is the Escort Redline.The other great thing is the built in GPS. This seems to work pretty well, although I have not quite gotten the lockouts working just yet. This is something that Radenso is actively working on I am told. Detection of my local red light cameras have been pretty much on, except for one right by my house that is a newer one and likely has not been added to their database yet. And what is more, you get free updates to their database of redlight cameras and speed cameras for life FOR FREE. No yearly charge like other companies do.The other thing that I really love about this, and I do not think it is mentioned enough, is the size of this thing. It is amazing! Sooooo much smaller than all of the other detectors, which makes a stealth install even more easy. I love that about this one.Overall this is so far a great detector, and bound to get even better with time. I would highly recommend it.

This radar detector falses….. a lot. I have yet to detect a LEO. I adjusted the settings and eventually switched K-band/ BSM detecting off and I still got a ton of false alerts. Big waste of my money! I will never buy another Radenso product again. These units have the pink poodle syndrome. They are just here for show.

Unit did not want to lock on to the GPS

I didn't buy this product from amazon, I purchased it directly from Radenso. It was delivered on time and in a box with a traveling case. I can't stress enough how well this product actually works! The range on this radar detector is fabulous! Gives plenty of ample time to slow down and adjust your speed. The customer service is also excellent if you have any questions or concerns. Initially when I first started using this radar, i kept getting false Ka-band alerts... then I contacted the company and a gentleman who works for Radenso gave me a list of specific settings to keep the radar on, it has no longer been an issue since. There not a lot of reviews about this particular radar detector, but I could tell you that it is well worth the money and as far as false alerts go with blindsight sensors and cruise control sensors on other vehicles & newer ones...the filter on this thing does a fabulous job! My only complaint is the the volume of the KA alert can be much better. But other than that this is a great bang for your buck and worth every dollar. This thing has saved me over a dozen times already in the last 60 days!

I have had this Pro SE model for a couple of years now plus I have had the V1 since the mid 90s. No detector on the market today can compare to the V1 laser. The V1 does not have gps. It is hard to find a manual for the Pro SE. Looking at their website it appears the SE has fallen out of sight. I wonder if it has been discontinued. I found the SE just a tad to chatty for my liking but I do still use it on occasion. The unit is not a bad detector. I have noticed that most of the reviews of this model are 2016 and before, although I did not read them all. Happy Motoring. The particular model has been discontinued. Of course if you already own this model you will continue to receive lifetime firmware/software updates.

Excellent radar detector, definitely 5 star. If not sure, check radar roys reviews or vortex radar reviews. this is the smallest, easiest to stow away or travel radar detector, longest reach, on the heels of the redline and exceeds redline sometimes, chasing the stinger VIP in reach, but now with gps lockouts and redlight/speed camera, lifetime free software updates and free gps updates, only con, manual false lockouts. for only $450 with 10% discounts using code "rdforum", I can live with that.

This is the best detector for off axis and long range detection. I have owned all the top line detectors and the RDPSE is the best on the market if you want long range and killer off axis detection. I have experienced some incredible detections with this unit on K and Ka, I have been amazed at some of the encounters I have had. This coming from a log time RD user . Redline is no longer the "king"!
