Surprisingly sturdy
Made from thick gauge steel. Appears to have a durable black coating. This piece is clamped onto the receiver tube and is surprisingly sturdy. I haven’t used it extensively yet, but I am happy with it so far.

No complaints. Fixed my problem.
The people who installed my aftermarket hitch and wiring harness, screwed the 7-pin/4-pin flat plug to my plastic bumper (many lessons learned there). Very flimsy. One trip, the electrical cord got hooked on the hitch and almost ripped it off th bumper completely. So, I searched for a no-drill solution to attach it to my Curt hitch, but couldn’t find that, so I purchased this. In the instructions it says to bend the bottom flange so it hugs the hitch collar, which I did, and added one of the spacers provided. I got a good tight fit. I’ve posted before and after photos.

Not too bad
Easy to install, just feels like it’ll bend when I plug in the wiring harness if I’m not holding the back of the bracket.

Won't Fit All Hitches
I have a stock Toyota hitch and the weld around the receiver makes it too wide for this product to slide over so I just gave it away. Make sure there is some length of the narrower neck between the cap and the base.

Easy to install
Installed this on my Outback with a Draw-tite hitch. Fit like a charm and was a super easy 5 minute install. I wish it were a bit heavier gauge metal as it bends a fair bit plugging in a 7 pin. Worth the money. I would buy it again.

Tidied up the back end nicely!
Original installation had riveted the harness to our plastic bumper. That failed and had to zip tie the harness to get home. This device makes everything tidy, and it feels sturdy. Was easy to install and would absolutely recommend.
