I've been looking for a pomade cream for ages that is light in texture, isn't sticky (able to run hands through hair) and strong enough to hold style. Gave up until I found this American Crewe (red). Yes its not the best smell, agree with one of the last reviewers that it smell like a lemon air freshener. But it not as bad as some of the dramatic reviews on here! Once I've got it on the smell goes after 2mins and so it really doesn't bother me at all. If you've been trying different products at least give it a try. I'm glad I did!

Been using this product for just over a month and it is the perfect pomade for thick wavy hair. Product emsulifies really easy and glides through leaving it with a natural shine. It also doesn't crisp up thereby allowing you put your hair back in position with ease. Only problem with the product is the scent. It smells like a lemon refresher but sweeter. It isn't as bad as other reviews make out though.

Excellent Product with a beautiful scent I used to use the green version of American crew but I found it made my hair feel kinda hard so I decided to use the red version instead and it looks more natural. I have attached a Photo of how it looks but note I do need a haircut on the sides and I may have used a little bit too much. Overall I would highly recommend

This used to be good. My last puck lasted for years and there must have been a reformulation, as this is creamier (less waxy and grippy) and the hold is almost non-existant. I could tell it was different the moment I put my finger into the pot; it is runnier now and this translates to a weak, greasy hold. It used to dry to a subtle sheen and great residual hold if broken up a bit with fingers or brush, but now it just looks greasy and the hold is weak. A search online has confirmed that it has been reformulated since my last pot. Sadly, a once great product has been reformulated to ruin.

The pomade is of an expected average quality, however the scent is awful (akin to rotting orange). I thought I simply received a bad item, but found the same product in a department store and it smelt the same…

I have a number of different products of theirs and was looking for just a light hair product for daily use in the office. That wasn't high shine or heavy and drying my hair out. ( Not that any of their products do). BINGO..! This one ticks all the boxes. I would highly recommend this and anything else by American Crew. Also take a look at their Shampoos and conditioners as well. I think you'll be very surprised and pleased. 😎 P.S Oh, I bought another tub of this product at a good/same price, two days after buying this one 😊

the smell is indeed not the nicest, but you get used to it eventually. the effect it has on hair is just really amazing, so the scent doesnt matter anymore :D

Una crema muy fácil de emplear que se aplica de manera ligera, sin residuos, fácil de moldear el pelo y duradera. Además, su formato permite transportarla fácilmente en un neceser ocupando un mínimo espacio. No deja residuos una vez seca. El acabado y aspecto del cabello es mate con un ligero brillo. no da sensación de pelo sucio. Fija bien, pero permite remodelar el pelo con las manos.
