Nothing is without flaw if you look hard enough. I have not had many issues with this knife so I'll clue you in on my experience, Pros: - Folding Function: The blade can swivel open with a flick of the wrist and it feels solid once it's locked. No rattle and no fear of it accidentally closing on you. Retracting is just as easy. - Blade Change: Tool-less blade replacement is super easy by a compound press and slide lock. I don't often use gloves so can't speak for the ease of use with them on. - Ergonomics: This is by far the most comfortable utility knife I have used comparing to various styles of those cheap two piece utility knifes. It fits in my hand perfectly and feels more controlled in my hand. I wear size L gloves btw. -Construction: This thing feels solid. It's got some weight to it and metal in all the right places. The orange part is a rubbery coating similar to those in a cordless drill handle and the plastic feels sturdy as well. Acceptable rattle from the blade I feel as well. Cons: - Clip: This thing has been super stiff and useless from the very beginning. It lays too flat to the body of the knife to be able to pry it out without hurting a fingernail and too pronounced from the body to make it noticeable. Not the biggest deal, I've just learned to live with it. Just put it in your pocket and try to ignore it. - Blade storage: There is no blade storage inside the knife but I never found that to be a huge deal because I rarely find myself needing to change a blade more than once a day. I just flip it and boom, fresh blade. Still, no blade storage if that's important to you. -Rust: I have seen others mention rust and yes, mine came with a bit of rust on the clip which is unfortunate. The clip is useless to me anyways and a good part of the knife is made of plastic and what I'm guessing to be aluminum on the actual blade housing. Some internals in the swivel mechanism may be corrosive so they might be rusty as well so just something too think about. Overall, the knife feels well made with a few flaws that don't hold it back enough to put it in the same tier with most knives out there. The one I have is the swivel lock version, so may be prone to malfunction since it has more moving parts although it has never failed on me. For the price of $12-$15, it's a good buy since you pay for the ease of mind when you use it.

I unbox and install appliances I use my knife all day every day. I've tried a ton of different utility knives and this one is my favorite so far. I showed it to my coworkers, they were surprised by the weight and comfort nobody wanted to give it back. It feels well made, over built, heavy and comfortable. It doesn't flick open and closed as easily as most but it feels better it's more satisfying. Not great in the pocket. The clip tab needed to be bent up and the rubber makes it hard to pull your knife out but at least it won't slip out.

After aging and dealing with hand problems I decided the upgrade from the old style utility knife and get something more ergonomic and easier to change blades in. This is the utility knife I wish I bought years ago. The ease of use and hand-to-tool fit is a welcome change to the old style straight knives. The handle is easier to hold and eliminates slippage. I also appreciate the locking blade mechanism that is easy to use and provides a measure of safety. Great job Fiskars!

Almost two years old with daily use. Everything is still tight, rubber hasn't deteriorated, one handed flip open is really reliable, blade retention is simple, fast and secure. Nearly perfect. I wish they made a version without the rubber, it does wear out eventually. I have their hammer and the rubber is wearing through after a few years

Great product at a great price. It’s well made and designed. The one feature that stands out is the folding capability that safety stores the blade and shortens the overall length for easy carrying.

This is the only Utility knife you will ever need. I use utility knives every single day at work. If anything is the signature tool of my trade, it is a utility knife. Needless to say, I know a good one when I see one, and use one. The rubberized handle makes for a comfortable and easy grip. The all metal body and reinforced steel handle makes it ultra durable. Now let’s talk about the blade. Fiskars is renowned for their blades in their quality products. Ever since I bought a pair of their kitchen chairs I’ve never looked back and I’ve always stayed loyal. Spend the money on this utility knife if you’re looking for a quality product. You will not be disappointed I promise.

Love this utility knife. First really well in the hand even better than the fastback. I widened the slot on the end so I could hang it on my pegboard. I use it to open all my Amazon packages.

Excelente navaja utilitaria, gran ergonómica como todos los productos fiskars. Muy compacto en modo cerrado. Se abre con facilidad pero también con seguridad.
