Great Value Leather Rivet Kit with Everything You Need This rivet kit turned out to be a fantastic set for anyone working with leather or even heavier fabrics. It includes 240 rivets in two sizes, with a nice mix of four colors—gold, silver, bronze, and gunmetal. Having that variety makes it easy to match hardware to different projects, whether it’s repairing a leather bag, decorating belts, or making small craft items. The inclusion of both a punch plier and the three-piece setting tool kit really makes it a complete starter package. I found the pliers to be sturdy and easy to use; they punch clean holes without much effort. The rivets set snugly and hold strong once tapped in with the setting tools. The double-cap design gives a more polished look than single-sided rivets, which is a nice touch if you’re doing visible decorative work. One thing to note is that the smaller rivets are best for thin to medium-weight materials, while the larger size is better for thicker leather. If you try to use the small ones on heavy material, they won’t grip as well. Also, organizing the rivets can get a little messy since they come in a single container, so having a small divided box on hand helps. The rivets are worth it; the tools are Chinesium Junk. The case is a joke.

This is a great starter kit if you've never done much riveting before. These are basically meant for small projects, for fastening cloth, nylon, leather etc., not metal or anything super heavy duty. I don't think they would hold real well on something under a lot of stress like a tent, although I suppose they might work in a pinch. I use them when making knife sheaths. The kit comes with everything, all you need is a hammer. There are a variety of colors and peg lengths and the tools are very easy to use. The hole punch was a little jagged and I reamed it out a bit with my dremmel, and then it worked perfectly. I bought this kit with specific uses in mind but after I got it, I found tons of other things they were useful for, so it's great to have around even just for general repairs or for strengthening something. Like I said, they're not heavy duty, but they have endless uses and you can even make decorative patterns with them on clothes, backpacks, etc.

Work great

These are easy to use but when you hit the pieces together to assemble they bend really easily. They are not for projects that need to hold much weight. They are more for crafty type things. All pieces there. Large assortment.
