Gardigo 90568 - Hedgehog Home - Natural Wooden Hedgehog House & Hibernation Shelter

Much smaller than anticipated, not fit for purpose. i.e.. to house hedgehogs in hibernation / breeding, etc.it would be helpful if dimensions put on description.The footprint i think is about 25cm by 30cm, so tiny.The wood is pine i think, so untreated. basically ikea would have made this for about £5. so also overpriced.returned to Amazon. I have now found a much better alternative

I bought this for a different creature, but it is definately too small for hedgehogs. Awful bright silver roof, not good for camoflage. Okay for my purposes though.Update... its a couple of weeks later and our resident rat has moved in. She takes up half the chamber, so still too small for hedgehogs. The fact it has no floor is what we wanted, as it gives her more escape options. Also means she has left the proper hedgehog house to the hedgehogs, so all are happy.

This is the cheapest,nastiest item I have purchased in many a year. None of the holes lined up correctly,the material is poor and I had to use my woodworking "nouse" to get it to fit together. The inner panel is useless as no large male hedgehog could possibly negotiate it. I've only kept it as a bet with a friend and the only reason I gave it one star is that it arrived on time and all the components are present.

Was easy to build and fair price, however I bought a few of these for each hedgehog to be released with but I had to remove the middle section so they could fit, not big enough for a adult hedgehog

A good ,solid haven for a hedgehog to over winter in. This house is supplied without a base, unfortunately, so a little extra work is required, in addition to building the shelter, to add a suitable solid base before making it available to hedgehogs. However, clear building instructions, with appropriate screws, are included to construct the basic house which has a short passageway to keep cats, foxes and other predators away from a hibernating hog.

All similar products were more expensive. I don't know how some justify the price. Only difference to this one is the others are wood stained and some have a floor in them, although a review said it was not a good idea as the hedgehogs can overheat.This one has no floor in it. The price was good. I had to assemble it but was not a problem.

Very small not what I was expecting, will need a lot doing to it before I can put outside, not waterproofed and no base, very thin wood, not worth the price paid

What a load of rubbish for the money. It's pine and the wood was split. This will rot very quickly as it isn't treated. The roof is made from looks like foil. No floor to keep them dry. I returned it. I already have a house that I've had for over ten years and is still going strong. I cannot imagine this will last a few years. I could have knocked together a better one than that if I had the time!!
