I bought this lense for my grand-daughter, so she can use sunlight to set fires. I hope to see her become an engineer or mathematician.

Not for "Lens Chimping"
This is not the same glass used by renown photographer Sam Hurd! I put it in front of my lens and everything was completely blurry. I thought otherwise would be the case; however, this company is EXCELLENT about returns and gave me no hassle.

Started looking for concave lenses, then "bigger would be better" interfered
This was an oops purchase. I wanted to find a lens to spin tops on and ended up ordering this based on its size. Still it's a decent lens and I've thought of several things to use it for.
