Fischer and Wieser Razzpotle Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, 40-Ounce Bottle

Absolutely the best sauce and very versatile. We use it on chicken and salmon and both are elevated in flavor. Sheet pan dinners are very tasty but bbq on the grill is divine! Our pantry is never without this sauce. It has unfortunately, increased in price point but still well worth the investment.

This is the best sauce! It used to be at Costco, but not this year so I had to order it on Amazon. I use it with cranberry/Jalapeno meatballs. It has the perfect sweet/tangy zest. It is not that spicey.

I have no idea of F&W's claim to being "the original" is true or not, but this has the classic flavor I expect (as someone who grew up in the American Southwest and for whom raspberry-chipotle is a natural thing). It's spectacular as a marinade and sauce component, as a jam/jelly to put on toast, and mixed with some cider or wine vinegar to make a salad dressing. It's much more versatile than one might think at first. I'm glad this comes in big bottles now, since I could plow through quite a bit of it. My next experiment is going to be mixing up my own barbecue sauce using this as the base instead of typical brown sugar/molasses/honey and hickory smoke flavoring.If you're skeptical, just try it. It's not super-duper-spicy and won't burn ya lips off. Nor it is cloyingly smoky. Nor sickly sweet and too fruity. If the thought of smoked hot peppers mixed with berries seems weird, and I guess conceptually it's an odd combination, just trust me that it works and then some. This stuff is magical.I've tried pretty much every brand of this, and honestly they're not much different. There's only so much you can do with one kind of pepper and one kind of fruit, and it would be kind of hard to mess it up. I've bought F&W at least 5 times in three sizes and from three different sources over the last few years, and will probably keep getting it since I know it's good and consistent and you can get 40 oz of it at a time. The price is a little higher than I think is really justifiable, but "what that market will bear" and all that.

I love raspberries and this product has so many. I not only love the flavor and the “heat”, but I put it on numerous dishes and it never fails to enhance the flavor of meat, poultry and seafood. And it tops ice cream, cream cheese and pound cake, too. An extremely versatile topping!

This is a request every year, and I've purchased this for myself a number of times. The family consensus is that's it's delicious.

I used to get this at Costco then they stop selling it as they do so many things. This stuff is so good, glad i found it again although it's expensive. It's very good over softened cream cheese with gourmet crackers. Also good over pork or chicken.

This is very good sauce

I use this sauce primarily on pork tenderloin and turkey breasts. Chicken would be good too.Here's what gets rave review. Put the meat in with a little sauce and cook it sous vide (water oven) in the mid-130°F's. After cooking put the liquid in a sauce pan and a little more sauce, raspberries or raspberry jam, and some quality vinegar. Boil this down, stirring frequently, to create a lovely sauce.Finish the meat by either smoking or searing. Enjoy!
