SpeckProducts Presidio Folio iPhone XR Case, Heathered Veronica Purple/Veronica Purple/Vintage Purple

Initially this case was perfect. Good looking and effective. It holds 2 cards (drivers license and a credit card) in a small pocket in the cover. Carrying the phone was easy and attractive. It eliminated the need to carry a bigger wallet most days. And the case itself was good at protecting the phone from falls. However within 6 months the faux leather was peeling and the plastic bumper around the phone was stretching and breaking. This was a perfect solution and I just wish this one could have held up to my lifestyle a bit better.

After misplacing my phone in my black hole of a work tote bag, I opted for a very visible red case. This is a perfect true red. The woven-fabric style of grain makes it very gripable and easy to hold. It easily stays propped open in landscape mode. I thought I would mind that it does not have a magnet closure, but that’s not bothering me at all. The iPhone XR wakes easily when picked up and shuts itself off quickly when not in use (per my settings), so I don’t miss having a sleep or wake function as I have with my iPad cover. As for not having a magnet to keep it closed, I’ve had cases with magnet closures - and the magnet wasn’t very strong and wouldn’t have kept the case closed in the event of a fall. Any real protection needs to come from the case itself, and this case offers plenty of protection. About the card compartment: I was disappointed to see my business cards are a smidge too big to fit in the compartment. Oddly enough, my driver’s license, credit card, and health insurance cards all fit! I’ll just trim a few business cards - no big deal. The one con? I keep my phone in my jeans pocket, and can already see the slightest hint of color transfer near the edges. I’ll update if it becomes a real problem. UPDATE 03/06/2021 The color transfer from keeping my encased phone in a dark jeans pocket has indeed become too much for me. I thought I could keep it in check with a “magic sponge” or spray cleaner. Nope. The case looks dirty all the time. I’ll subtract one star and shop again for another case.

Sleek, attractive, and very useful. The inside pocket holds 3 cars very securely. The ability to use the case as a kickstand for the phone is handy. The exterior texture provides a good amount of grip without feeling too rough. I would recommend this for someone who needs a folio-type case, either on a daily basis or on occasion.

I like that you can use the cover flap as a phone stand when watching Youtube videos.You can also hide credit/debit cards in the flap if you want.It also charges with the QI technology.Only drawback is you can't put a pop socket on the back of it, if you want to charge it with QI.

The case itself is great. Durable, easy to handle, and protective of your phone. It fits firmly around the phone and gives you all the benefits of an open-faced Speck case. The exterior holds and shows dirt easily, tried multiple methods to clean which only seemed to make it worse - daily handling causes wear and tear staining. The prop stand cover format easily wears out, causing it to become flimsy and collapse on itself. The cardholder does not hold standard-sized credit cards, IDs, or business cards - interior is slanted and small.

I like the durability of this case and the bright red color to easily find it in my purse. I got it at a great price and think it will hold up for a very long time.

The case cracked after a few months in the corner, and even before then, I was going to replace it because the design is awkward and super uncomfortable. The cover hinges in the middle/back of other side which means that you end up holding on to the floppy part when you are using the phone. It feels not secure and also can dig into the hand a bit. Also, the cover looked dirty within a week because the fake leather part picks up all kinds of grime. Do not buy!

I bought it for the second time, the card holder is practical and its luxurious in texture and shape. Do not fold the cover back as much as possible to extend its life.

Didn’t last a year. Leather and plastic separated meaning card fell out. Card door also opened too easy. Phone fit was good but had to cut a bit of rubber around the mic to be heard.

Disappointed with this case because it didn’t stay closed - returned
