Now has USB-C input port ! :-)
Wonderful Charger !I've had one for 5 years, with the Micro-USB input port.No complaints at ALL, except for wishing it was USB-C.< wink >Now --I just bought a NEW one, and (HURRAY)it now has USB-C input port ! ! !:-)LOVE it ! ! !

Great charger
I didn’t look much into this charger for my 18350 rechargeable batteries.I’m impressed, very nice lots of information on this. Price is great.

NOW HAS USB-C CONNECTOR!
I bought this UMS2 model expecting it to have a micro-USB connector, but it seems they have updated the unit and changed it to a USB-C connector! I was so pleasantly surprised to see this when I got it. Hopefully you wont get an old version though and they have only stock of the new ones.Works great! Love all the stats it gives on the LCD screen. Only thing is that it's a little bulky.

Similar to the D-Series chargers, but USB powered
Makes a good desktop charger as all my desks at work have a USB power supply for my phone. This unit is a better buy than the original UM series as it now does all the common battery types, not just Lithium. This model is closer to a D-series charger except that it only uses USB for charging (D-Series has 12v and 110v). Unlike the older UM series it does not let you use it as a battery pack to charge something else. One feature this has over the other chargers I have of this size and form factor is the ability to reset the internal chip on the circuit controlled Lithium batteries.I have several Nitecore products that I've been very satisfied with. I have a newer flashlight that uses the 21700 battery that none of my current chargers support so decided to pick one up as it also happens to fit some other needs.I was looking to get it for a Go Bag as it supports all common battery types and can be charged from ANY USB power source including a portable pack using commonly available USB Micro cords. I haven't decided yet how well that will work out. Not because of a lack of features but size. I happen to have another unit that is smaller (1.5" shorter) with less features though. Next time I'm out on a multi-day campout, I'll have to give it a try.

Works perfectly
Works as described. Charged batteries in less than 1 hour.

Unsafe junk
Worked for about an hour. Now it shows something is charging in slot one even though no batteries are even installed. In it. Unplugged it and waited a minute and plugged it in and it still shows something in slot one. I’m not sending it back and I will never buy another Nitecore product as this is the second product of theirs that failed in a short time. I’m 2 for 2In fail with them. A faulty charger can burn a house down so I’m not trusting this company ever again.

Great Charger and now with USB-C
I saw all the complaints about the micro USB power input but ordered it anyway. I am happy to report that these chargers are now upgraded with a USB-C power input.

Great charger
From AAA batteries to much bigger ones for lasers and lightsabers, this handles them all. Gives a better charge than the original devices or internal saber chargers. Even revived a battery we thought was dead. That alone makes it a great value for the money.
